Day 338 CJSM-book IV

Day 338

Setting off a bag of fireworks under Candy’s lawn

chair when she was pregnant (overdue) with Becky

Some kids just never grow up!? I reckon so!

We had a 6 year old, think an “old” man might have a little sense?

Miss Candy was overdue-pregnant with a “bun-in-the-oven”, so to speak.

Hey! I am always willing to help---especially…when needed. So? They did put me in charge of the fireworks (adult-supervision and all that rot); I got lady Candice seated on a lawn chair in the pasture, sat the grocery bag chock-full of fireworks under her for “safe-keeping” and promptly fired a Roman-candle fireball directly into the open sack. Ka!-Boom!

Candy, being in a “rotund” disposition, as it were, couldn’t vacate her fiery chair; she rode out the entire bag of Boom! Boom! With her legs pulled up and nowhere to go.

Worked out just fine---Great display-show…not a single singe. (Am I good---or…what!?)

Becky came a few days later adding significantly to our tribe---let the games begin.

Okay! So adult-supervision is required---I am an “adult?”…chronologically speaking!?

Considering---seems like our little sojourn over 50+ years…has been one big Bang!

Ah! Cookie Jar Sweet “Adult-supervision” Memories!
