Day 321
Mom, Dad, Becky
& the girls’ road trip to Marion, IL
to look at the
horse, Jaeger
Our
lovely Young Lady Miss Lauren Victoria searched for a horse for over a year.
Wow!
Patience! “That”---she did not
learn…from me. I want it---yesterday…if not sooner.
She
knew “what” she wanted and took her time getting there. Bravo! Good job.
We
took a road trip to Marion, Illinois to purview a steed; after riding him, she
passed.
In
the interim of her search, Miss Lauren “leased” a horse name of “Skippy”. A
tall (16..3 hands) being a sorrel in color and with a pleasant personality; he
absolutely loves Miss Lauren.
She
rode Skippy for a year while she looked at mounts from Kansas to Tennessee to
Michigan; in the end, she came home to “old faithful”. He is a dream.
In
all that curious exploration for an “acceptable” equine to suit Lauren’s wants
and needs, we managed to do some traveling; always a “good” option, lots of
family time and entertainment.
My
sacred mantra seems to always come full circle with this magnificent family-unit!
Thank you!
Faith!
Family! Freedom!
Might just be all there really---Is!
In one eternal
instant the only mercy-blessing will be…His!
Ah! Cookie Jar Sweet “We all knew Skippy was the
one!” Memories!
