Welcome! Plus: Day 101 CJSM

Welcome aboard! New readers!

It seems I hand out a great many “business cards”;
please consider the offer an invite to my world;
I sincerely hope you enjoy the rhetoric and find
Hope! Comfort! Inspiration! In the simple words.

By way of explanation: “CJSM” is my acronym
for “Cookie Jar Sweet Memories”; our delightful
and loving progeny gave us a cookie jar filled with
small papers on which are written “memory-sparkers”
from our lifetime together as a family. Lady Candice
and I are fully enjoying the fabulous reminiscing.

Just Amazing! That one little “innocent” kiss some
fifty-plus years in history could result in such a
sacred tribute as our family does honor us. Bravo!

I do not give advice; as a humble-man I offer thoughts:

Enjoy each day for it is His gift to thee!

And,
Make someone smile; don’t forget “thyself”!

And,
“Good enough” might be barely acceptable;
“Better” begins the enviable “saintly”-trace;
“Best” buffs bright the golden angelic-halo!

And,
Live! Love! Laugh! Focus contemplate!
Vigilant be! No one’s future is ever late!

And,
Faith! Family! Freedom! Might just be all there really---Is!
In one eternal instant the only mercy-blessing will be…His!

If you are depressed, you live in the past.
If you are anxious, you live in the future.
If you are satiated, you live in the present.-Lao Tzu

May God keep you and bless you!
Offer Him: Praise! Honor! Glory!
Amen!

Day 101

Sponge Bob & Patrick---The girls know who Patrick is…

Lexi got me hooked on ole Sponge Bob Square Pants, the cartoon series.
After awhile, I got the hang of the irreverence and delighted in the “wit”; when Lauren and Anna Marie found out I liked the stories and knowing that I can’t count (1, 7, 4, 2---10!) and never learned my “a, b, l’s”, they believe that the best four years of my life was…3rd grade!
They have also concluded, with some coaxing and on-hand examples that I can’t read.
Well! Ole Spnge Bob’s best friend is Patrick (he’s lovable but a moron), they named me him!
And, to this day, some seven years later, they still call me Patrick”! If the name fits…wear it!
I try---some agree that…I can be very “trying”! Well! Confession is good for the soul!

Thankfully, you don’t know about my 3-Sttoges reputation!
I actually do speak a fluent “pig-Latin”! Nyuck! Nyuck! Nuyck!

Ome-Say at-thay I-ay am-ay ot-nay oo-tay ood-gay at-ay English-ay,
ut-bay---ig-Pay atin-Lay…at-thay is-ay y-may ile-stay! Oh-ay! eah-Yay!

Some people never seem to “grow-up”! Thank God!

Top ’o the mornin’ to you, Mon Amie!---and…the rest of the day to myself!

Ah! Cookie Jar Sweet “Imbecile” Memories!
