Day 107
Hans and his
Black Forest Cake
and Nanny
dancing on the tables
Becky
had the family trek east, to Germany, when she married “Baron”-Alexander.
We
toured the “Fatherland” soaking up the culture contemplating our ancestors
lives.
On
a Bavarian mountain road somewhere just this side of “totally-lost” we found an
“oasis” on the summit with a vista-view of our “homeland” that ought to grace a
postcard! Spectacular!
The
restaurant was run by a gregarious, big, barrel-chested native-German man with
a ruddy complexion; he especially liked the female members of our
party---Yeah…he was that obvious.
Smiles
for the “Americans” all; Hugs and more embraces for the “hot” gals! Hmm!? Hans!
We
ate well with the most diligent attention from old Hans; probably an ex-S.S. officer!?
For
dessert, Hans offered “Black Forest” cake made with whiskey; Candy drank two pieces!
But,
while we teased her about old Hans; Beth got a “free” shot glass for---just…a
kiss!
Not
to be out done by her daughter, eighteen years her junior, Lady Candice outdid herself at the Hofbrauhaus (beer hall) in
Munich drinking several of the “gallon”-size steins and performing a seductress
sixties’ “go-go” expose’ on the table where she and Z. Tyler carved their
initials.
Confession-Clarification: Lady Candice does
not
drink; I just exercised---“literary-license”.
It
is so seldom that we get anything on dear Nanny that we must exaggerate any
opportunity, even to the point of exacerbating the “creation” with the
obfuscation of absurdity-to-ridiculous!
Sure!
I bought lottery tickets in the Fatherland---same result…No winners!
Superb events in
another awesome-adventure! “Ja!”
Ah! Cookie Jar Sweet “Bavarian” Memories!
