Thoughts & Day 153 CJSM

Winter-bite:

River bottom sloughs blue-white frozen tight;
North-wind to howl its Joyous lonesome-fright;
critters munch summer’s hay stored from loft above;
Lazy-I in rocker aside the toasty fire to reminisce.

Plus:

Day 153

Candy and her Ziploc bags---
She would have had Beth and Becky
In one…if she could have

Lady Candice Leah is one of those “neat and orderly” types; I appreciate that attribute!
I once allowed to a dear friend who asked me what she was like that living with an angel was very much like living in a “display” home where everything was “perfect”. And, it’s true.
She just cannot tolerate anything less than immaculate; her house is---spotless…always!
Do not lay anything down put it away---properly! Or, Candy will remove it…forever!
She has a knack for cleanliness---everything has a place…everything in its place! Amen!
Oh? The “Plastic-bag” levity? The girls concluded that Mom would have had them in a plastic bag, if, she could have. I took that humorous tease as a compliment for her---so…did she!

Ah! Cookie Jar Sweet “…cleanliness…Godliness…” Memories!
