Happy Mother's Day & Thoughts & Day 165 CJSM

Happy Mother’s Day!
(May 14, 2017)

Mom is Love! Thanks, Mom! For all you do and are: Mom reigns!
Even pre-birth her comfort-warm embrace: “Mommy-love!” refrain

And, in her Christian-generosity complete natural-sacrifices forever, again
Innocent-beginning years all Love-care warmth “I love you, Mom!’ refrain

Challenge her authority by accident, un-wise, love-forgiveness, Pray! Regain
Bouquet wild purple violet wild remorse “Forgive me, Mom?” sad-refrain

Prettier each day she grows like Mother-love so beyond the sacred-plain
In adolescent appreciation at last begin to grasp Mother’s true-Love refrain

Pales deep red-rose as rainbow-hue compared to Mom-child love’s gain
Harbor from life-storm challenge protector-always Mother-Love refrain

Oh! Happy-tear cheek-stain me Mom on blessed-wedding day vow-lane
“Thanks! Mom! For everything. Me bride, pray I, be just like thee refrain

Then, at last, thy treasure-measure reward with grandchild perfect-grain
“Can thee babysit, Mom?” Of course, often-insist, sweet Granny-refrain

Teach little-one “April showers/May flowers” myriad color explain
Exemplar cook, class, feminine-ways pure-Love! continued-refrain

“Goodness” instill on progeny confess any transgress open be slain
Might that all might emulate thy saint-like holy-plan humble-refrain

Where time-quick has gone for thee and me in an instant proud white-stain
His “good and faithful” servant hath celestial-reward bought sacred-refrain

In every little thing and giant contribution Love-blessed never a single-bane
For, because of thee, I have come and been and am adoring-thankful refrain

Pray I! That one fine day I might be loved as thee by all who sacred-deign
Practice! Try harder! Me Simple-Humble “like Mom be” emulated-refrain

So? In Love-conclusion: Thank you! Mother! I love you, Mom! Amen!

Happy Mother’s Day!

All the answers?---Wrong? Yes!...Right? Depends on perspective!

That she had been “politely” begged of contents from her purse,

he knew. The spouse had okayed the deal to thousands with a

proper codicil: Consider it a free gift! She came to me for advice.

’Tis thy choice, Me dear! If “Yes!’ Expect no recompense---eternal!”

The decision to conclude the deal? I do not know---nor…care!

Day 165

Bears in Yellowstone Park:

Carl: “Candy, roll down your window.”

Candy, “But, they say ‘not to’.”

Carl, “Roll down your window so I can get a picture!”

Candy, “But, they say ‘not to’!”

We used to take a “lot” of pictures; well? We still do---somewhat! I reckon.

One year we trekked on up to Yellowstone National Park. Suddenly, a black bear appeared on the shoulder of the road, right by our car.

Grabbing my trusty, and, handy 35mm SLR, I told Candy to roll down her window as the bear was only about three feet from the door on her side; she refused justifying her “fear” with an admonition to me that the brochure said not to roll down the windows. I wanted that close-up!

It was just a little 499 pound black bear; not a 1,000 pound grizzly! How much did she think a “small” bear could eat, anyway? An arm? Jeez! She has “2” of them---feed the wildlife! Hmm!

I got the shot---a glaring reflection of the inside of the window glass! Wow!

Ah! Cookie Jar Sweet “Don’t feed the bears” Memories!
