My “Shadow-girl” with me on every adventure.

Convertible riding to see the sites; and, boy, did we ever.

Coming home between classes to rock my little girl.

Three broken rocking chairs as we had nothing “new”.

Riding Lady in the basement of two houses we built.

Commander, Midget, Arabesque and more; you could ride the “wind”!

Your picture on Ara with a cerulean backdrop! Spectacular!

Santa brings a “youth” saddle for Beth’s Christmas!

Trail riding alone at the tender age of “3”! Wow!

School days when Dad was the only male-“Mom” at the gatherings.

Reading a library of “Little Golden books” until we had them memorized!

Sister Rachel Rebecca “Becky” joins our growing family! Yea!

Hawaii vacation-gift for your High School graduation; someday---I’ll…go!?

Light gold Sunbird with T-tops---no occasion…just, for “fun”!

Each Christmas better than the previous “insane” celebration-festivity.

Every day a “created”-event concluding a lifetime of Great Adventure!

Never fearing to dream too big; only afraid to dream too small---or…not at all.

On to Willamette University School of Law in fabulous Salem, Oregon.

Now, a Law Professor! And, so much more! May the fun never end. Amen!

Handsome Z. Tyler! Blonde “Curly-locks” Lexli-Lu! Our tremendous family!

If any might measure “success” on my time---surely…the treasure is: all of you!

Thank God for His blessing of you upon us! Thanks, “Beth-er”!

Wishing you many more than another “50” to celebrate with you.

Day 74

The night we got Brandy and Dad brought her in the
family room and laid her on a blanket by the fire

Yeah! We have had our fair share of critters over the years. Brandy was one of the best!
I had seen an ad offering Irish setter pups; the girls had wanted one, so off  I went to “check out” the possibilities and soon returned with our beloved “Brandy” who thought she was human.
Well! Ole Brandy-girl was “part” of the family, for sure, but, she sure wasn’t---human! When Miss Becky reads this, I’ll have a debate on my hands with that announcement; she loved the mongrel and so did the rest of us. We were all friends; Becky and Brandy were fast friends!
And, yeah! I allowed Brandy to enter the confines of the human house, on occasion.
We had a hill in the front yard extending on a 3:1 slope down to the driveway and on to the rock-bottom creek on the other side; Becky would ride a metal saucer down the incline when we had snow and Brandy-dog would pull the conveyance back up the hill to the house so she could do it all again; neither ever tired of the adventure; neither have I.
We are blessed with a “Great”-life based in a sacred-Tradition of: Faith! Family! Freedom!

Amen!

Ah! Cookie Jar “Ruff! Ruff!” Sweet Memories!
