Day 91
Candy’s
graduation from Columbia High School-1966
Oh!
Yeah! That’s my girl! I sat in the audience and watched Candice Leah graduate.
Of course, she took more than a few of the
honors; she already owned my admiration.
Intelligence---Proven! Beauty…Obvious! Talent!
Personality! Wit! Humor! Perfect!
We sure enough had us some times, tame,
intermediate and Wild, over this
course of half a century. How can a guy 18 live so long? Luck-o-the-draw! My
friend! Some are Blessed!
I own no gold; own almost nothing; am 99%
non-materialistic. Simple! Humble! Humorous!
I enjoy the exercise of my wit (dim-wit;
half-wit; nit-wit) as some have observed? But, never do I castigate others; the
“fun” ends when anyone’s feelings are in jeopardy of being injured.
Such
Neanderthal behavior smacks of “bullying”; my code-of-ethics forbids such
conclusion.
So? Lady Candice Leah graduated High School
and we went to college together, often took the same classes, married and had a
beautiful daughter followed by her clone six years later.
Our pleasure-treasure of Beth and Becky! Our
little clan was growing.
Between these beauties we were further
exceedingly blessed with a cadre of Love!
Handsome
Z. Tyler (if I ever grow-up (God forbid) I want to be just like him), Beauty
Miss Lauren Victoria (my “little Professor”-mommy), Beautiful Miss Alexandria
Elizabeth (my delightful “Lexli-Lu”---she plays chess quite well) and our
Beautiful Anna Marie of sharp wit of horizon-vistas (our “Pistola-girl). Each
exudes beauty, intelligence, talent, Christian-generosity.
As
to my “non-materialistic” penchant? Well! These precious gems are my
“value”-held!
Upon me “metaphoric” golden crown is embedded
seven sparkling jewels as named above.
This
I treasure; this is my measure; our shared-lives together is, indeed, my
pleasure Amen!
And,
yeah! We made a Big deal out of one insignificant graduation (as judged by the
world); “they” quite simply got it all wrong---again…and, seemingly, always!
Life is a “big”
deal! If one’s eyes are open along with their heart and mind. Attitude wins every day, rain, shine or
otherwise, when you determine
outcome. Nobody rains on my parade!
In humble Praise!
Honor! Glory! I Thank God for these perfect-blessings! Amen!
Hope! Comfort!
Inspiration!
Amen!
Ah! Cookie Jar “Faith! Family! Freedom! Sweet
memories!
