Day 89
Traveling to
Branson and
staying at the “Here
’Tis” Motel
We
found delight and love in the “simple” things of live; Branson was one of those
treasures.
I
am not a big “amusement park” fan, but, Silver
Dollar City at Branson, Missouri gave the kids a chance to taste a bit of
the “culture” celebrated by “popular” America so we indulged.
I
love the Ozarks-vista scenery; the “cave” at the amusement park is one of my
favorite haunts.
Pretty
simple fare for the “ultra”-sophisticated U.S. citizenry; but---that’s…me!
Somehow,
on our first trek to Branson I stumbled on to a motel way out yonder to the
opposite side of Silver Dollar City southwest of the town in a little wide spot
in the road name of Kimberling City
(getting pretty close to the Arkansas state line) with a motel named “Here
’Tis”.
The
accommodation was in the country but did sport a swimming pool. We enjoyed our
stay.
Doesn’t
take much to entertain Simple-I; Just
another day and irreverent-immature curiosity!
And, by George!
Voila! Here Tis!’
Amen!
Ah! Cookie Jar “Here ’Tis” Sweet Memories!
