Happy Birthday! Z. Tyler! (28!)

Happy Birthday! Zachariah Tyler! (Z.T.)
July 24 ,2015

Z.-Man

I once knew an awesome young guy called “The Z.-man”
Any tough challenge needs taming it’s a safe bet that he can
Adonis-handsome! Einstein-intelligent! 007 sophisticated-Cool!
Quick-wit talent! Always comes out on top, his oft practiced rule
When (if?) I grow up to emulate him would be my hoped plan
Amen!

Dear Z. Tyler---

Clearly recall I the instant I saw you: Love at first sight! A confession: I loved you even before that fabulous meeting; long prior to your birth. Immediately, we were “Friends”!
At nine months you could hold a plastic ball, drop it and hit it with a little red bat! Wow!
When you were twelve, I taught you to drive my red Ranger truck. Awesome!
So many times I took you out of school so we could play golf. Fantastic! (I got in trouble for those indiscretions and for telling you the Truth about grades; but, I “Do-ed” it anyway.
Live! Love! Laugh! Focus contemplate!
Vigilant be! Not one future be ever late!
Always! I told you the Truth of life. Of all things. Taught you values. Lead you to virtue. I was a willing mentor; you, a treasured student. Before long, in careful observation, I learned from you, also. Your delightful personality wins people; they like you, trust you. With good reason. You can walk into a crowded room and everybody wants to be your friend, especially those of the “female” persuasion; any age difference seems not to be an issue of concern. Bravo!
Z. Tyler, Mon Amie, you have done quite well! And, thee has hardly begun! Wow! Amen!
“Real” men are difficult to find, these days. Three generations and prior before you, such was common amongst both genders; Ah! I revere and lament those by-gone times and space. You, Son, fit that mold and fill it well. Amen! “Straight and narrow”! Truth is the way. That’s you!
You already know, and that truth will be fulfilled to you: everything is Simple! But, not easy.
Stand tall in the light of His Truth. There is right and wrong; good and evil, black and white.
The demarcation line delineating virtue from sin is clear, evident, constant; choice decides.
The world awaits; you are ready. Bon chance! Mon Amie! You shall continue to do very well.
Faith! Family! Freedom! Might just be all there really---Is!
In one eternal instant the only mercy-blessing will be…His!
Amen!

I love you! Young man! Always have; always will.
Peace! Mon Amie!

Happy Birthday!

Nanny & Bapa

A Boy’s Heart! A Man’s Soul! A Free Spirit!
(Here stands a True man; An Independent Individual)

View the humble Z-man in deserv-ed celebrity-glory
In highlight-fashion I shall endeavor relate his story

Laid eyes on a bundle-beautiful in a hospital corridor
Stole me heart complete as all present did adorable roar

A “natural” celebrity of sacred humble intent-bound
Quickly proved pleasant worthy with purpose-found

Adonis-handsome baby-boy with good looks to spare
Athletic-prowess adroitly displayed in awesome share

At nine months could drop a ball to hit it with his red bat
Became the center of our lives: “Z. Tyler’s where it’s at!”

Quickly found my Shadow-buddy constant at me side
Bundled him sub-zero for a full moonlight tractor ride

Co-pilot aboard the rented Ryder across the Rocky Mountains
Salem-town out Ole Oregon-way played in the capitol fountain

Nanny-patient taught him to play ball; I introduced him to the links
Put him on a pedestal-proud; I am “Mr. President”, Z. Tyler thinks

First bus ride on ole Cherry Lines; up Canada-way upon a B-C ferry boat
His mom’s a lawyer; appropriate, his rain gear a blue-finned “shark”-coat

On to Tennessee’s Vanderbilt where he got his first mosquito bite
When his Nanny explained the bumps, the boy was ready to fight

Taught Z. to ride a two-wheel bike on third Groundhog Day! Wow! Co-ordinated!
Allowed him drive me Ranger red truck at twelve; the bike became subordinated

Took him fishing, Z. was “Good”; bought a row boat, he got to pull the “oars”
Cheated on the tally links so he could win at golf; soon Z. fairly won the score

No need to talk about the “Ladies”, quickly the girls found him tall and slim
Every blessed thing about this lad concludes: One day I’ll be just like him!?

And, now full-grown with a real “job” and quite a continuing fabulous existence
Anticipate his progeny will be like Lexi, Anna, Lauren blessed-sacred persistence

Happy Birthday! (28)     Love, Nanny  & Bapa
