Bar-b-ques and picnics with family and friends
Horseback rides and swimming parties fun
Gentle rains upon the emerald lawns manicured
"Mother's" garden trees and crops sublime
Vibrant color-palette fragrant flower delights
Wild thunderstorms electric dancing shows
Nature-satiated pleasure-treasure comfort shown
Upon cool midnight stroke usher "August" in
Asleep two hours by then in peaceful slumber rest
Lost off to "fantasy"-land in conjured embraced dreams
Gently nudged awake dawn's hinted thought at day
Glory orange-red orb transgress grey horizon east
Mid-morn lemonaide respite in silver maple dappled shade
High sun apex announce this day bright time of noon
At three enjoy childlike treat tasty cool ice cream
Evening slip to purple dusk another time in space come/gone
Replinish strength through deep wrapped comfort respite
Anticipating promised coming dawn instant August midnight cool
