“Bang! Bang!”
You lose! Again! Evil!
2-obvious
thoughts on the Las Vegas evil-Coward
event:
1)
Good!
Wins! Again! And, always will! Amen!
2)
Sure, an idiot massacred “innocents” from ambush;
Dirty-cowards never stand-tall to redress “grievances?”.
Good-people
outnumber every “evil”-swine: 40+:1.
Before the last hapless victim
fell, Good-people converged
on the scene to help, including
those among the wounded.
Good always
prevails! Revelation details the Truth-of-Providence.
Amen!
2)
“Hate”,
in all its self-serving idiocy is self-inflicted lethal-cancer.
Instead
of hate, try making a “positive” impact-statement
on tragedy:
Speak
kindly; give blood; make a monetary donation; offer: Prayer.
And,
if you really do care, go out right
now and do a random kindness to a stranger.
Offer
today as Praise! Honor! Glory! To
God! Make every thought a prayer.
Amen!
I
wish you: Peace! I pray you: Health & Happiness! Seek: Enlightenment!
Proud
to be an American!
(And,
yes! I lowered my flag to half-staff this morning. Thank you!)
Revere our sacred-Constitution! Respect &
uphold the law!
God
(continue
to)
bless America! Amen!

Day 290
Beth’s cowboy
boots from Conway’s that she kept
putting on the
wrong feet---because she had…
two “left” boots
When
1st born, Catherine Elizabeth was a child, money was, to say the
least: Tight!
Hell!
Looking back, seems to be a way of life, but, I have “No” complaints. Male do!
Beth
loved horses from her first days of cognizance. Somehow, we managed “Lady”.
Of
course, she needed a saddle; that I managed to "horse-trade" in the purchase of the
equine. When Christmas came around that year, ole Santa delivered a brand-new
“Youth” saddle. Hot dog!
Beth
already had the cowgirl shirt, blue jean pants with appropriate western-tooled
belt with “silver” trim, blue cowboy hat, even a pair of six guns. Let’s
see---what was missing?
Oh!
Yeah! Cowboy boots! I knew just the place to purchase the missing detail.
Conway’s
Discount Center!
The original pre-cursor to the “Sam Walton” conglomerate.
We
had our own version of a “discount” mega-store way back yonder in 1969. They
sold everything imaginable at discount prices; it was a very popular store for
shopping.
We
found daughter-Beth a fine pair of cowboy boots. She tried her best to please
us by wearing the black imitation-leather high tops but constantly complained
they hurt her feet.
She
was only three years old and we figured she just wasn’t used to the new “feel”.
When
she persisted in her protests, not like her to complain, Candy took a closer
look. Yep!
No
wonder our little girl’s feet hurt---two boots, all right…both Left!-footed. Poor kid.
We
immediately “righted” the mistake and---Voila!...she loved the boots! Happy
trails!
Of
course, I have heard like experiences happening even with the “elite” shopping
venues!
Ah! Cookie Jar Sweet “C’est la vie!” Memories!
