Day 234
The little girls
riding the sheep
at the Botanical
Gardens
At
first blush, one might consider the Botanical
Gardens just a tad bit tame for my tastes; such rash conclusion would prove
to be dead wrong; I’m the guy who planted over 10,000 trees!
We
have a well-rounded family as far as any culture
might be concerned; even---me!?
Yup!
Even been to the “opera” a time or two; always sit in the front row, just in
case some of that there “culture” should slop-out---Well! Hell!...Might just as
well slop-out on me as anyone!
We
make several trips to the Missouri Botanical gardens each year; fall is my
favorite season.
Our
little girls and, even, Z. Tyler enjoy the outings; been going since they were
little. Lady Candice and I make the trek every November 25 in celebration of
our wedding anniversary. (50)
One
of the favorite attractions for the children is a place in the enclave where several
“sheep” are set up for the kids to ride; the girls always loved that
attraction, best! Me, too, I like sheep. (Of course, the patron-sophisticates who frequent the venue
scoff at an old man on a fake sheep.)
Our
girls, Beth and Becky, had “real” sheep on our farm; just try riding one of
those!? Hmm!
So?
Another fantastic memory from our little Life-album!
Life is grand! Love is perfect!
