Day 236
A mountain of
Raisin Bran covered by a cup of sugar.
Smash and add
more Raisin Bran---Mom’s breakfast
Until
I had a little health issue in my 60th
year, I never ate breakfast; that extra five minutes of sleep meant more to me
than some burned bread and an egg. Since that “awakening” to the whole world of
medical practitioners when the old ticker acted up and I fell into their
clutches, I now partake of the morning meal---upon expert-medical advice…Hmm!?
Lovely
Lady Candice Leah, on the other hand, always ate breakfast, our girls, too.
Candy’s
appetite changes, every now and again; when the kids were little---Raisin Bran!
She
enjoyed a mountain-of-cereal buried in a cup-of-sugar drowned in an
ocean-of-milk!
On
occasion, back-in-the-day, I would whip up a “king’s”-breakfast with eggs,
bacon, ham, sausage, fried potatoes with onions, biscuits, butter, strawberry
preserves, tea, O-J. Yum! Yum!
Oh!
And today, I also eat breakfast---a banana with toast or jello…still find it a
waste of time.
Ah! Cookie Jar Sweet “Bon appetite!” Memories!
