Nostalgia!?
Reckon that's "about-all" an old-guy has left!?
I tried to teach my progeny to be Independent-Individuals;
anybody can easily "follow" the boring/bored crowd. Also,
"Respect for Truth!" and an appreciation of nature was offered.
They did very well; we are proud of them and their children
Taught them "adventure" like snow-ball fights in the house,
kicking your shoe so hard that it flies in the birthday cake,
playing "cowboys & Indians" on ponies in the creek, fishing,
ball, 4-wheeling, driving the truck, vacations and much more.
Life is exciting events made adventure with Dad the biggest kid..

One fine Sunday, eons ago, Lady Candy ushered the girls to
Sunday-school for an attempt at redemption and forgiveness
having spent a week with (Moi)! Everybody needs a "little"-help!?
While the mistress-of-the-house tried to "save" her girls from
the example of "me", I explored our farm for Morel mushrooms.
If you have never eaten these delicacies---you've missed...a lot!
I found a patch of bright yellow Morels just down from the house
across the creek; I waited for Becky to get home from church and
promptly invited her to go mushroom hunting. She quickly found
the patch of over 50-fungi; she was hooked; still is!
She and her family just purchased a farm where they plan to
build a new home and establish a riding stable with trails, stables,
jumps and the whole shebang! She went to the "farm" today
to "work" on the property; came home with a big bag of Morels!
Yeah! Sure enough! Ole "Dad" taught her pretty well! I reckon!
Left us enough for a meal, or two. Thanks! Yum!-Yum!
I sure enough reckon that was the best $400,000 fungi I ever ate!?
Well! Sadly, now! Time for the "master" to pass the baton! (sniff)
For 60-some years I proudly reigned "King" of the "fun-guy"-types;
today, I surrender the baton to the "Queen" of the real wild-"fungi"!
Anyway, sure did enjoy those wild Morels! Mm! Mm! Good!
Reckon being "Retired" isn't all-bad!? Sure enough!
Amen!
Amen!
