Dare: Dream-I "Fantasy"

 

I “Dream”---and the “Prayer” is…Life-divinity!

 

 

Night-respite replenishes this body---also…my soul and spirit!

 

In restful-sleep, in waking-space---I dare Dream…Life-divine!

 

Yonder! Through the midnight-black my spirit soars

the spectacular blue-white diamond star-strewn abyss

astride a winged silver-Unicorn in dreams unfettered-wild.

 

Emerald, the hills surrounding my Liberty, Tennessee, Baptist

Cemetery where repose Granny and Granddaddy with others

of my ancestry-tribe; the bridge still stands above the river

where my mother dangled her child-legs in youth long before

her mind entertained any thought of what I might one day be.

 

Warm afternoon-sun highlights the figures congregated at the

venue of a farm-house porch where lived my great-grandparents.

As the chains of the porch-swing creaked a cadenced charm, old

and young discussed the monumental “issues”-of-the-moment while

partaking of home-made ice-cream or summer-sausage or sweet

watermelon or any other “delicacy” delighting the participants.

 

And, every awesome-day---events…my adventure-of-life Divine!

 

I awakened to a gifted gentle-rain---to God…”Thank You!”

Came an 8” snow---delighted…grabbed my trusty camera!

Nature’s grand ice-capade storm---backlighted-sun…branches spider-webs!

Hellion-August blazing 104°---relief…iced-lemonaide and cooling shade!

Church-novena---white-washed blue-light subtle…Father! Son! Spirit! Grace!

Mathematics-study---3 -  9 – 81…Of course! My very “favorite”: π (pi)!?

Oh! Noble-beast!---My love-weakness true…Hi! Ho! Silver! Away!

Respite from alfalfa-hay baling---filigree maple-shade…two-hours to go!

 Early-morning stock-feeding---hay in the loft…tack-room leather aroma!

Ice-skating on the winter-frozen pond---bon fire…marshmallows & hot dogs!

Cadenced-lapping silver-tipped waves---rhythmic boat-beat…with Dad!

Autumn’s Royal kaleidoscope-display---Red! Yellow! Orange!...Wow!

Each-instant alive-in-love---events-unlimited…culminating wild-Adventure!

And, of course:

7-diamond jewels adorn me “metaphoric” golden-crown---Life-Love!...

Lovely-Lady Candice Leah! Beth! Becky! Z.-man! Lauren! Lexi! Anna!

 

Not much! Perhaps? Have---simple-humble I…save: Dreams-of-Love!
