Act I
Scene: A pastoral woodland
Once not so long
ago in a land nearby lived an auburn-haired princess beauty. Her angel
loveliness fostered personality beloved by all, admired by many, adored by one.
On a warm sunny afternoon, while strolling free outside the village walls, as
was her want, to escape the restraining rules of do’s and don’t’s, the fair
young maiden stood upon yon hill and spied a magic golden unicorn with wings
wide to fly. He soared so free un-tethered as to make her pure heart flutter to
his song of life and so joined he in love that very day.
Lauren: “What
handsome steed be this which I observe? His passion pure for joy of flying free
within this simple life. Dare I chance a single wish to catch such fury wild?”
Annie: “He
gallops so to experience fresh wind in mane and tail. Then, flies in heights to
see just fluffy clouds pure white in
yonder deep cerulean sky.”
Lexi: “Oh! His
glowing pleasure is merely in the doing. Excitement which I have never seen; he
lives in flight for just the pure sweet glory there to breathe sweet freedom.”
In his muscled
strength she sees her dreamed Adonis. This steed of heaven fails not to notice
such lovely quiet repose. Lands he near-by and soon does nuzzle close.
Z. Tyler: “Ah!
Pray tell, Me sweet! Pardon, me lady fair and pure, I could not help but notice
thee in bucolic pasture green. The wild rainbow flowers before your beauty pale
and shrink.”
And in the
mountain meadow peace flairs fair blue Columbine Colorado soft enhanced with
necklace pale of yellow golden hue, cool breeze spruce-scented against her
alabaster face tanned slight while stirs glow subtle love’s sweet ember
kindles.
