Haste---

 

"T"-minus---and...counting!

 

 

Perhaps their final "Good-bye" was pleasant;

in the end, it no longer is of any concern.

 

The U.C.L.A. co-ed got a text from home with

the distressing news that her father had suffered

a heart attack and was in I.C.U. on life support.

 

Frantic, the young lady fled the campus in a mad dash

down the Interstate to get back to New Mexico in an

effort to be "home" to make amends, say "Good-bye".

 

Fate claimed her innocence-of-reality when she ventured

too close in her challenge-of-haste; another statistic.

 

Her father recovered from the health issue;

the girl became another captive of the ages.

 

If you are lucky enough to love someone,

call them right now to say "I love you!"

 

Counting for the "winning" tally is futile!
Enjoy! The now! Sing the sunshine! Dance in the rain!

 

Right now is all of your reality! Do not miss any of it!
