What's-up?

 

And---here-we-go!...again!?

 

I started a new short-story a couple of days ago;

seems the tale wants to be a "full"-novel.  Hmm!

 

Yeah! I know! I'm in-"charge"! Not some "fiction"!

 

A literary-agent (people who represent writers and try to

sell the author's work to publishers) once told me to take

control of my characters and to quit writing so-much.

"Who is going to publish all those books?" She queried.

 

Guess she was right!? 12-books completed and self-published;

four more being "polished" and five new ones being written.

 

My "characters" have lives of their own; sometimes,

they awaken me in the middle of the night allowing an

opportunity to "spy" on them in their conversations and

adventures. Nuts! That's what the literary-agent said.

 

Ever know anybody who had a "house-plan" in-hand and

set out to buy a lot (any-lot) to build the house on? Hmm!?

 

Not every "lot" will accommodate just any ole-house; the

building site will "tell" you what it wants; if you can just listen.

 

We bought a place 10-years ago and it has a vacant lot next to

the house that was all yard. I sat in the filigree-shade of the huge

old maple tree and allowed the lot to tell me how to landscape it.

 

Wow!---I am "nuts"!?...Letting the lot dictate its terms!?

 

Turned out just "Gorgeous"!---Couldn't have done it...alone!

 

So? I'll "humble" myself any-day to His-will! And---so...how?

 

Try---Our Father---Thy-kingdom come...Thy-will be done!

 

Think you are so-"good"---so-"important"...so-"relevant"? 

 

Try putting Him in-control---and...see what happens!

 

So? I'll let my "fictional"-characters decide what the story will be!

 

I sure-enough reckon---it'll be much better...that-way!
