Palm-Sunday!

 

Jesus entered Jerusalem riding on a donkey on the Feast-of-Passover;

the crowds laid palm-fronds and cloaks on the street before him. Seeing

this adoration by the people of Jesus celebrating all the good and miracles

He had performed made the "chieftains" angry out of jealousy causing

them to declare that the "people" had chosen to follow Him and

therefore decide that they must kill Jesus.

 

Thus, the stage is set for the "farce" of Jesus' trial and crucifixion.

"Holy-week" tells the history of the trial and suffering of Jesus.

 

Today, we received palm-fronds after mass celebrating Palm-Sunday!

 

A chilly-rain with leaden skies greeted the celebrants!

What a perfectly Glorious Palm-Sunday!

 

Attitude! Seems to be our "salvation"-choice. Choose-wisely!

 

Seven-decades plus a couple-of-years concludes my simple-understanding:

 

Live! Love! Laugh! Focus-contemplate!

vigilant-be! No one's future is ever late!

 

And---

 

Faith! Family! Freedom! Might just be all there really---Is

In one eternal-instant the only mercy blessing will be...His!  

 

(Of course--- my assessment might be wrong...but, it works for me)

 

So...

 

Pray for me!---Be kind to one-another...Celebrate Life & Love!

 

Palm-Sunday!---Holy-week!...Easter!
