Emerald-sea “wish”-limerick

 

On yon escarpment-high beyond a bonny emerald-sea

Young lad and lassie Love!-dream a single “thee and me”

On yonder undulating blue-waves rise and fall crests-white

Unison cadenced-rhythm Rainbow! Butterflies! Unicorn!-sight

Soft-kiss passion! Devotion-emotion! Then---there were…three!

 

Amen!

 

 

Who might “I” Irish-be!?

(a “Loving!-limerick)

 

A writer of a million(?)-words!? Did plant 10,000-trees!

Lend helping-hand to progeny with hive-home wild-bees

Might that I should live just long-enough to something-amount

Eschew fancy-cars, brand-name! Just (simple-humble- I to count

Live! Love! Laugh! Thankful! For myriad-blessing I seize

A-bonny! –bonny! Emerald-sea!

(errant---St. Paddy-Day thoughts!...God! Help-me!)

 

If!? My Bonnie lies over the sea? Would she be extra-large?

Might, well-then, destroy the British-shipping kingdom-hold?

Simply “drive” the continent-“bounty” across wide yon-pond!?

But, did not Mr. Christian conquer the “Island”-beauty Bounty-sailed?

Upon me emerald-sea white-cap spray like Irish-Love! world-embraced!
