Beauty!---To the senses…Success-achieved is never-wrong!

An old nemesis: Worry! & Fear!

 

Worry! & Fear!

 

"They" just seem to never relent or "go-away"!?

Persistent as any demonic-"evil" pestering man.

 

Enabled by their protégé-epidemic: Bored! Lonely! Afraid!

 

So? Prey-tell! Just "what" might I do about the evil-scourge!?

 

Well! Let's take a look. Maybe? Pray! Truth! Humble! Simple!

 

Worry & Fear, the evil-twin step-sisters not only set you up for

defeat come the 'morrow-dawn, they conspire to steal your-today!

 

So! Go-ahead! "Worry" about all  the issues you "believe" to be

so very important, the very ones you can do absolutely nothing

about; "Fear" what might happen, but, never does. That'll help!?

 

Maybe try a "better"-attitude toward precious-"Life!" And, "Love!"

 

Instead of  always seeing the "bad" in everything and everybody;

find "some"-good in people and things---"they" are there...waiting!

 

If it rains and you had planned a picnic; celebrate God's gift!

If you think things are bad with Him in charge, just try to

"fantasy"-imagine the-disaster if "you" were really in-control!?

(Now---there might just be something real...to Worry! & Fear!)

 

Stop being "Right" on every-issue concluding everyone else is "Wrong"!

 

Father! Forgive-"me" for my transgressions!---Redeem-me!...Offer-me Salvation!

 

If there is to be "peace!"-on-earth?---"It"...must begin with...me!

 

Each day I humble-pray: Thank You! Dear-Lord! For the soft-delight of

Your pale pink-blush dawn! Another "chance" for Salvation for this "rebel-

rascal-rogue-rapscallion" to practice true and real Christian-generosity! Let

me exemplar-be in your image and likeness through the golden-sunrise! On

into the mid-morn respite in the filigree-shade of the giant silver-maple tree

offering rest for a weary body! At mid-day, let me "Live just south of yonder

high-sun noon, a bit west of thy midnight alabaster-pale full-moon" beauty!

Allow I enjoy delicious-cold ice-cream come the mid-afternoon and savor

purple-eve's cooling-shades! Thank-You for the rest of soft mid-night with

myriad blue-white diamond-sparkles twinkling in the vast black abyss above!

Offer Your-"Peace!" to the afflicted-souls enmeshed in an agony of demonic -

torture at the self-delusional "Worry!" & "Fear!"-syndrome enabled by an evil-

disabling self-destructive absorbed-obsession of Bored! Lonely! & Afraid! Amen!

Save-the-world!? Hmm!

 

Save-the-world!?---Really!?...Hmm!

 

 

I have been exceedingly-blessed--always...and, "un-deserving"!?

 

Had an absolutely Great-family from little on. Thank Thee!

 

When I was 12, I thought I wanted to "Save-the-world"! Wow!

 

"Worthy-ambition"!---I reckon-so...but, a "bit" naïve!?

That was the same year I took the seminary-entrance exam.

 

Shortly thereafter, I nixed the priesthood-idea and made a

conclusive studied-determination that the world did neither

"want" to be saved nor did it deserve salvation. Hmm!

 

Of course, now into "mature"-years (I often-wonder about that), if

the opportunity came about that I could actually "Save-the-world",

would I do whatever the challenge required of (simple-humble) me?

 

Two nights ago, I spent the evening in an Emergency Room with

my ailing 91-year old mother suffering a heart-condition. Thankfully,

all turned out "negative" and we took Mom home! Amen!

 

Sitting in the E. R. waiting room, an elderly gentleman approached

my area and was hunched over and in quite obvious distress. After

all, he was in a hospital E. R., but he was in dire need of attention.

 

He "hobbled" (slowly and laboriously) into the "men's" restroom.

In several minutes he came out, looking confused and pained. He

struggled to the drinking-fountain sipping at the cold water. When

he turned to retrace his steps, the man went down on his knees in pain.

 

Now, there were at least 50 people in that crowded E. R., many had  

a "clear"-view of the distressed man, but, nobody (including-me)

helped. (In today's world, I understand. Salving my reluctance!?)

 

One woman immediately got up and went to the old man's aid! Wow!

She helped him reach a chair next to mine and fetched a nurse.

 

"Christian-generous"-me (so proud of my Faith-belief) failed to act.

 

Oh! I heartily applauded the real Christian-attitude woman among us.

I wanted to shake her hand, but, my own was sadly un-worthy of her.

 

The nurse took the man away; I did not see him again. Hope he's okay!

 

"Save-the-world"?---Hmm!...Couldn't even lend a needed helping-hand.

 

Sure-enough reckon-so real-"Heroes" are few and far between! True!

 

Maybe!?---just a "little" Christian-generosity might...Go-a-long-way!

 

So? Maybe I'll try to smile a bit more, complain a whole-lot less.

 

It's raining tonight. Okay! I'm just "on-visit" here. I choose to enjoy it!

 

"Our Father...Thy kingdom-come...Thy will be done..." Amen!

The "word" is---Thy...not "my"! Practice: (simple-humble me)!?

 

No! I am not "important"! But, maybe I can initiate some "Peace"!?

 

"Let there be Peace on earth and let it begin with me." Amen!

And, just How!?---I do know this answer...Truth! Truth! Truth!

 

And---Dear Lord...give me another chance and I'll try to do...Better!

 

Faith! Family! Freedom! Might just be all there really---Is!

In one eternal instant the only mercy-blessing will be...His!

 

I know this to be true!---Reckon...I just need to practice it! Amen!

Spent the afternoon taking my 91-year old mother to Urgent-care

and then on to Barnes Hospital in St. Louis to have her checked

out for heart problems. They (the medicos) could not find anything

definitive determining that for her age, she is pretty healthy overall.

 

So! Thank-God for miracles like Mom and Barnes and medicos!

 

I am home late---and tired...but well pleased with the conclusions.

 

Looking forward to Mom's 92nd birthday celebration June 2!

I have already written this years message for her big-day!

 

Oh! It's true I missed the $750-million Power-ball drawing, but

I sure-enough feel like I won the Lottery-of-Life & Love! Amen!

 

I'm sure there will be many more lottery chances---and...one-day I'll WIN!

 

Until lightning strikes---I'll celebrate the "little"-victories...immensely!

 

Thank You! For the myriad miracles abundant in my life and space!

Congress votes on the new-"scam" today. Idiocy! What-a waste!

 

In the "debate" in the Senate-today, some "man" (if one-such

can ever be found) might hold up a sheaf of papers proclaiming

that the "New-Green-Deal" is akin to "this" menagerie known as

"The Great Society" 1964-legislation of LBJ to "save" America

adding "How is that-genius working out for you!?" Amen!

 

Three-trillion dollars on welfare since that piece-of-garbage---

and...today (55-years later) we have more poor people than-ever.

 

And, the N-G-D is estimated to cost 100X that 1964-travesty!

 

(Folks!---there just ain't...$100-trillion dollars...anywhere!?)

 

These 330-million citizens of these United States of America

are very nearly evenly split---socialist/communist vs. capitalists!
(Look at the numbers-tally in any recent election)

 

This Great experiment-of-democracy has a granite-foundation.

That base is "The U.S. Constitution!" Revere-it! Love-it! Save-it!

 

There is an un-declared raging-war against the Salvation of

this country attacking the very values and virtues resultant of

that sacred-document, namely, Faith! Family! Freedom! Amen!

 

In 1962, the U.S. population was about 200-million citizens;

Roman-Catholics (R-C) numbered around 95-million members.

 

In 2019, with a population of 330-million, R-C comprise 60-million!

 

In 1962, the Catholic-hierarchy embraced the Vatican II Encyclical-

debacle which devastated the priesthood and sister-orders. Wow!

 

This grandiose-experiment initiated the modern-"cancer" on Catholicism.

 

Called-on the purposed-annihilation of Latin-mass "religion", a

"modern"-priest intimated that even though the "church" lost some

30-million (net) Catholics (like-me) with the faux-fiat of Vatican-II,

they (the Church) had "gained" 1-million new-members in S. America!

 

Hmm!?

 

So!?---Bring the G-N-D! and...any-next "genius"-idiocy! Oh! Yeah!

 

The U.S. Constitution!---The Holy-Bible! and..."I" are...ready!

 

I Thank-God for our precious-country! The Bible! Life! & Love!

Equestrian-afternoon! I love-horses (and, riders)!

 

Getty-up!

 

 

We did a couple of hours of yardwork this morning;

cool-ish but sunny; another Great spring-day! Wow!

 

Enjoyed a Spartan-lunch; took an afternoon ride in the SUV.

 

Went to Bohleysville-farm but found it vacant of the Baur-clan.

Thought they might have trailered the horses out for a ride but

found them at the Devinwood-stables riding in the arena.

 

Mr. Zorro is recovering from "scratches" (mud-rubbing) that

resulted in an infection in his hock. Treating with anti-biotics.

Our Anna Marie walked, trotted and cantered him; no jumping.

He is doing just fine and in 5-days can begin jumping again.

 

Mr. Skippy, under the expert hand of our Miss-Lauren was

put through his paces over 3'-jumps! Man, that horse has some

Pegasus-blood in his lineage; he can absolutely---Fly! Wow!

 

Home for a light supper and off tonight for Pizza-fun and games

with the entire family to celebrate Lovely-Lexi's 16th birthday! Yea!

 

Power-ball Lottery tonight---$625-million...might pay 1/2 my-bills!?

 

Yeah!---Sure-enough!...I reckon I got me a ticket! Good-luck!

Spring bulbs have pushed the early-flowers through.

Trees are budded, ready to "pop". Grass-greening.

 

"Our"-myriad wild-birds are eating like dead-of-winter.

 

Applied "mole"-dope and fertilizer to the yard, today.

 

Candy raked more leaves off the flower-beds.

 

Time to get the lawn-mowers ready and I sure-enough would

like to get all my sprouts planted along with more-flowers.

I truly find the exquisite-experience most delightful!

Spent the afternoon with Lovely-Lady Candice-Leah cleaning-up

the "winter" flower-beds removing the fall leaves, checking on

"new"-growth (all looks just fine) and "sprucing"-up a bit.

 

Dug a bunch of lilac-shrubs and other assorted "greenery" to

transplant at daughter-Becky's last-year farm-purchase yonder

on Bohleysville Road. Norwood Stables! Absolutely-beautiful!

 

I started about 300 (or, so) maple, various-oak and myriad shrubs last fall from
cuttings; they are looking "good" and that 40-acres may well not be big-enough!?

 

You might take the "boy" out of the country---Well!...You know!?

 

Yeah! I'm just a Southern-County-boy!---Born 'n bred!...Proud!

 

I offer a "challenge"---Plant trees!...I dare you! A worthy-legacy!

 

I reckon I sure-enough planted a "few"---and (hopefully)...many-more.

So!? Think I'm ambitious!?---Candy does the work...I-supervise!

I love work!---I could watch it///all-day long!

Never a "cop" around when you need one! (not always true!)

 

"Always a 'cop' around...!?"

 

Just seems I can't go anywhere without getting into trouble.

 

What a night! National Honor Society inductions for our

Lovely-granddaughter, Miss Lauren, and 37 others! Wow!

 

Well! I am behaving myself, sitting on an especially "hard"

chair, smiling with utmost pride at the goings-on among the

young-group of award-winners, happy for them, enjoying myself.

 

The chamber is filling with attendees for the auspicious-occasion

when an audience member comes down the row of seats in front

of us; it is Lovely-Lady Jan McDermott and her sweet-mother.

 

Miss-Jan smiles and says "Hello!" to Lady-Candice and me as

she takes her seat.  I quickly get mentally-lost in the excitement of

the action surrounding the preliminaries of the event about to begin.

 

Content in my little-"world" and feeling so naturally-proud of our Miss-Lauren,

suddenly, out of nowhere, appears one of those St. Patrick Day-celebrants

(even though it is now March 18th and he should have chained his

 "Irish"-exuberance, by now) I see Mr.-Wonderful, a retired policeman, 
 reach out a hand to my pretty-wife in greeting and hear him verbalize,
"Hello! Sweetheart!".

 

Welllll! I appreciate the fact that our Emerald-Isle "cop" appreciates

" beauty" (and---I am not ever the least bit "jealous") so, I quickly

extend my hand toward the interloper and parrot-"Hello! Sweetheart!"

 shaking his hand while waving my free-hand to the far-yonder

extremes of the row of chairs inviting him to go to the end to sit.

 

People two rows in front of us and several guests behind us are starting

to stare and laugh (good-naturedly) at the antics of two grown-men about

to exploit the comedy-situation seeming more and more akin to the now

infamous Abbott & Costello  "Who's on 1st" routine! Hmm!

 

So! The cop zings me with sarcasm: "I could sit real-close to you!" Uh! Oh!

 

Not being an "actor" and absent even one-iota of "ham(?)" in my body, I

simply couldn't resist just one-more lame sparring-jab: "I don't think so!"

 

Conceding the round to my "worthy"-opponent (but, having made a

"good"-show of it), the "induction"-festivities began in earnest.

 

(Now, you know, how, in a few minutes, you "think" of the response

to your nemesis' "Touchet!" knock-out punch and wish you had said it.)

 

Sure-enough! My "triumph"-remark came to me---an instant...too-late!

 

"For-once. I cannot say, 'Never a 'cop' around when you don't need one!'"

 

Thank-God the induction had begun and I did not utter that "stupidity"-aloud!

 

After the awards-concluded, I sought out my-"friend" to share a few words

and we parted amicably, each smiling at the earlier frolic-banter. Ah! Good!

 

The "moral"-of-the-tale? People of "Good"-will and humor far outweigh

any effort-of-evil in our world. I enjoy good-humor and Good-people. Amen!

Then, once you acquire the "knack" for self (in all things)
