Can’t clearly view His yonder sacred-stable

Subtle-feel our Lord’s holy communion-table

 

Saints-among-us! Reckon witness-I ’tis awesome-true

Cherubim & Seraphim! “Wonder”-persons I surely knew

 

Angel-songs! Winged-melody! Cadenced-lyric call

Syncopated-rhythm pure-white snowflakes softly-fall

 

Quiet desert-wind hums night-time solace-embrace

Angel-serenade announce eternal Savior’s-trace

 

Bright star-light! Heralds holy-Jesus’ miracle-birth

Good will to men! Peace on His declared calm-earth

 

Whisper-winds of angels’-wings subtle clarion-rent

Silent servant-beasts adore the manger Innocent-sent

 

Tender-touch yon Savior-child golden-halo aura-ring

Christ-holy angel-guardian focused-vigilant ever-sing

 

In long-ago midnight-dark Christmas-birth celebration

Angels! Saints! Common-man! Worship sacred-adoration

 

Smell-sweet pine-scent dancing on yon cool night-air

O! Holy-night! Harmony our eternal Christmas-prayer

 

Gentle-night peace-rest His holy Mary-of-Grace Mother

Humble-attendees Joseph & shepherd-boy with sacred-others

 

And, in that ancient winter-diorama treasure Bible-story

In modern-mind an angel-choir joy-sings my Jesus’-Glory

 

Merry Christmas! Shouts-of-acclamation celebration-song

Among holy-saints and Christian-angels Joyous! Thee-belong

 

Angels-sing! A-Amen! A-Amen! Amen! Amen!
