Spring-call delight

 

Harsh-icy winter time-calendar at bay long-last

Forest-scent leaf-floor soft-tease Morel-delight

Tasty-fungi gourmet with deep-fried blue-gill

Ah! Hill-steep climbed for image-meal hope

And---there…treasure-measure serendipity

Like grey-ghost shadows on midnight-black

In yonder shallow yellow-Morels to fifty-four

A trophy---indeed…let child-pal discover crown
