Choices & Consequences!
Groupie-socialite Eve
“craving” the popular-apple
Not-even-one-man Adam weakly
“taking-orders”
Nearly all world-War II vets lived as
“real”-men!
I am so very
proud of these true-life men-“heroes”
Today!?---seek
diligently…find even one-single “Man”
We have met the
enemy---and…he is US (Pogo)
Lovely-Lady
Auntie-Grace e-mailed a tribute to Steve Jobs.
And---he did very well, indeed…$10-billion + and dead
at 56
On his death-bed
lamenting an absent soul/spirit-soaring life
In the end---a
$-tally…paled to a life of: Live! Love!
Laugh!
Faith!
Family! Freedom!
Might just be all there really---Is!
In one eternal
instant the only mercy blessing will be…His!
Amen!
My
condolences---56 years & money…to learn: Truth! Love! Liberty!
Spiritual-friend
Michael died at age 58---No-celebrity…No money
Rest-in-peace!---Mon
Amie!...You did very well indeed…in Spirit!
In college,
Michael dedicated his life and being to God. Spending time
in the
University library upper-room he devoured the words of the Bible;
by age 23 he was
a “Master-theologian”---albeit…sans
the sheepskin.
I met him a
decade and a half later---we became good friends…in-Spirit!
Over a profound
17 year-adventure, we blatantly explored---Faith!
His I-Q he never
revealed---I said it was well beyond…the highest mark.
Socially-reclusive!
Intellectually-contemplative! Knowledgably-inquiring!
Together---we
intently-reverently challenged stated…Belief
& Understanding.
That Sacred-Spiritual 17-year journey solidified my
religious-foundation;
I think
friend-Michael also gained positive-fashion through the experience.
On his death
bed, I teasingly (with attempted
humor) said to my dear friend:
“Let me know
where you are!?” Absent hesitation: “I will---if…I can!?”
Celebrating his
acumen-wit---laughing tearful-words…”I love you! Michael!”
Brilliant! Not unlike
Steve Jobs, Michael lamented his vacancy of Family!
Each “Great”-man
had chosen a path---succeeded…and, in-the-end, questioned.
Great-men!?---Indeed!...Great-er
God! Amen!
Perhaps---Wisdom is not only of choices…but, in
loving the Consequences!
