4-phases of Santa Claus
(Face of an innocent child): I believe in Santa Claus
(Doubting 10 year old, frowning): I wonder about Santa Claus
(Rebel teen) I don't believe in Santa Claus
(New daddy with a family): I am Santa Claus

Day 26
Mom’s beautiful
music on the psaltery
Talent! Talent!
Talent!
A whole family filled with myriad talent---and I…have none!
Oh!
I can play a “radio” with the best of them---if it’s plugged-in…or if
the batteries are good.
But,
I sure do enjoy my clan’s talent at work; there isn’t anything they can’t
master.
Candy
took lessons from little on; she enlisted our girls to “tickle the ivories”,
too. Our Z. Tyler man took to sports and excelled in several disciplines on
various fields and ice arenas.
Lauren
plays the piano, violin, psaltery, dulcimer and a bit on the clarinet; Lexi can
toot a tune on the flute, plays the piano and brings sweet notes on the
psaltery and dulcimer; our Anna Marie can streak her fingers across the piano
keys, strum a guitar and coax delightful toe-tapping music from the folk
instruments like sister Lauren and cousin Lexi.
I
presented Lovely Lady Candice Leah with a mahogany baby grand piano for a
birthday. She plays the violin and the fustic folk instruments the girls love
so much. Beth and Becky are accomplished musicians and our Lexli Lu dances up a
storm with ballet, tap and jazz. All are extremely intelligent with pure
hearts, a generous spirit and a focused Quality-towards-life!
Annie
and Lexi, aling with two other classmates, went to the principal of their
school to gain official permission to enter the building early on a Monday
morning, the week of final exams before the Christmas break; Permission granted!
Why?
They decided to give each of their one hundred and ninety-wo fellow classmates
a surprise: A note of encouragement for finals taped to a Hershey bar for
energy and good luck. Each student in their class got such an anonymous gift;
when they had exhausted their classmates, they added the teachers as
beneficiaries of their Christian generosity! Wow!
What a fine tribe I find myself with; “Blessed
are the meek for they shall inherit the earth.”
Well!
“Simple” people like “Humble-I” have to inherit---otherwise…we’d never get anything! There must be some “justice”
or “wisdom” in there somewhere? I just can’t find it!?
Just “play-on”
boys and girls while I search for some---redemptive…Salvation!
Amen!
Ah!
