No one knows---for...sure...

 

The "other" side

 

 

Just what is "on the other side"?

 

Unless you have ventured there, no one knows---for...sure.

And, once anyone transgresses "here" to "there"---No return.

 

I have been "close" three times in this life---but...no cigar.

Just wasn't my turn, I conclude. Still, I manage to joke about

the predicament saying, "They didn't want me over there, either."

Also, I quip "Many prayed when I was sick; but, I lived anyway."

 

A "glimpse" of heaven reveals the "prize" to be not so much different

from our physical abode. Mostly, "heaven" appears as "perfect" in its

presentation, concise, precise, of supernatural design. If one has ever

viewed cartoons from Disney of the fifties, a slight understanding of

the "celestial" experience can be somewhat imagined. In those animations,

no detail was overlooked, skimped upon, let slide; the effect resulted in a

presentation which soothed the mind, invited fantasy, redeemed reality.

 

Each shall, with certainty, meet that final breath---then...each shall know!

 

So, we will all know everything, or we shall know nothing.

 

I am a gambler, it's in my blood, I get a rush from the challenge.

 

But, I am not foolish enough to gamble on---eternal salvation.
My Faith ---is (must be)...Perfect!

 

Faith! Family! Freedom! Might just be all there really---Is!

In one eternal instant the only mercy blessing will be...His!

 

For me? Words good enough to live by.
