Spring Color!
The yard and garden are in spectacular bloom!
Emerald lawn dazzles the eye like a green isle.
Pink and white dogwood blooms blaze along
with pink to purple flowering crabapple and pear.
Early spring yellows, reds, whites and blues of
varying shades have flashed and retreated.
The summer lawn furniture is out, cleaned and
ready for use at bar-b-ques, ice cream festival
get-togethers, birthday celebrations and Mother's Day.
Soon, we plant the vegetable garden.
Fruit trees flowered and set fruit.
Pet-rabbit Timmy, the mourning doves
and old feline "Billy-jinx" are happy.
The girls are riding every day, now;
a horse show today, Sunday.
Freshman Lauren is going to the prom;
her dress is absolutely gorgeous!
These three beauties would make any
tailored "remnant" material look---even better!
Her "date"? Miss Margo and Miss McKenzie!
(I always said that girl is smarter than average)
So, another day; life unfolds one event
leading to awesome adventure each dawn.
I "Thank Thee" for Life and for Love!
Amen!
