Ambition Motivation?

 

The "Chicken" or the "Egg"?

 

 

Which came first?

What difference does it make?

 

Just this: Success! Or, Failure!

 

Ambition: Always in my lexicon---but...

subdued, somewhat. Passionate?

Mmm! Yeah. But, not---Wild!

 

Motivation: Sure. For the "fun", the

"excitement" of the pursuit of the "game".

 

Ambition" and "motivation" are very much

like "intent" and "purpose" in that the pair is a

symbiotic necessity to result in---Success!

 

I mustered the ambition, when necessary.

Managed necessary motivation, for "fun".

 

Enough? Yeah. For me.

 

Once or twice I had a few quarters, at the same time.

 

Success never measured in "treasure" (money).

 

Independent-Individual stirred my soul, soared my spirit.

 

In a word:  Freedom! Ah! Sweet taste of Life!

 

Maybe that's why the "rich" are so very scarce?

 

My "treasure" is not subject to "measure" in any

monetary accounting; it lives within; it is my spirit!

 

So? Why this introspection? Now? At my age?

 

Regret? Guilt? Transgression-Confession?

NO! Nothing so altruistic for a confessed "Hedonist".

Well! Sort of! By reputation, if not, in fact!

But---no...regrets! No apologies! Not to self.

 

Only---If...I had planned, conformed ( a little), then,

I might be better able to help a life-love, now. Not

that the I-I (Independent-Individual) would allow such.

 

It would just make me feel better.

 

But, I, and, more importantly, my "Love", will be okay.

 

Always! Forever! Eternal!

 

Redemption! And, Salvation! Yes!

 

Love is all there is; all there needs to ever be!

 

Smile! My love! Tomorrow dawns: Hope!

 

We'll make it through; we always do!

 

Faith! Family! Freedom! Life!

 

Amen! (Always & Forever!)
