Pernicious “evil” twin step-sisters

(a tale of “Fear” & “Worry”)

 

 

     Ever been desperately afraid? Filled with worry? Sometimes? Always? Never!?

     Those pernicious demon-evil twin step-sisters are “phantoms”; wraiths who steal your life.

     Defeated, are they, by the merest belief in the breath of Grace of the Holy Spirit! Amen!

     Such deceitful allowances literally ensnare your life-breath, destroy imaginative creativity, defeat logical intellect, imprison the accepting “victim” of the lie as the purveyor’s ward. How defeat them?

     Simple: Quit believing the lies! Amen!

     “Fear” and “worry” can only win the day when the “victim” invites and allows the lie to become real in intent, on purpose, with impunity. “Confident”-Faith triumphs---Every time it’s tried.

     Consider the waste of space within your life devoted to conjuring up all the vacant reasons to be afraid of some impending event or worrying over each and every consequence, plausible or fictitious, to a pathetic mindset. What Good came of the dread of a masquerading wraith which never existed in reality, only within the defeated self-pity attitude of “It’ll never work!”? No solution was reached, no determination made, no positive action contemplated or taken. Just another sleepless night with an upset stomach, a morning headache and sorry wishes.

     And, in the daylight reality of the ’morrow dawn: Salvation! Always! That demon-event, the very one which stole your sleep, your rest, your patience, your nerves, your comfort, appeared and you weathered it, found it not to be anywhere nearly as you allowed the evil twin step-sisters to pretend. And, the pathetic butt of the aberrant perverse joke of the evil pernicious trick---You! Yes! You---in all your sophisticated senseless crowning glory! Wow!

     Nothing is ever solved by facilitating the demons; no Good comes of such deceit, proactive intervention evaporates, the avalanche builds in your weak mind, all is lost! Amen? I think not!

     You have deliberately and with malice wasted precious time, effort and opportunity. Please note: there exists only a finite amount of that most precious commodity within your space. Can any of us afford the luxury of squandering such a life-blessing? Again---I think not! Such deliberate transgression is one which I, personally, intend and practice to avoid---Always!

      Devote that energy utilized to imagine the terrible outcome of any event which causes “fear” or “worry” to seeing the Good reward of facing adversity with confidence and trust---Faith!

     Pray: Thy will be done! Amen! Allow Him lead thee. He commands through His sacred word:

Fear not! Follow Me!

Amen? Amen!
