Rose-colored
Glasses
“Good!” in people consumes about
ninety-seven percent of their humanity; the remained of errant-evil intent and
pernicious-purpose gets nearly all
the headlines, but, that Goodness within human-kind sustains society and
culture. In summary: Faith! Family! Freedom!
Such outlook focuses distasteful
spotlight upon the demon of “Hate” toward other fellow beings. Like issuing a
vicious cursed complaint against the weather because it rained and that impediment
just undermined my super-sacred plans
for an outdoor picnic, concluding somehow, the inconvenience being some person’s
fault that your intentions had been
ruined. Wow!
How about: Thank You, dear Lord for your
benevolence of a bounty of precious giving-water for these beautiful trees,
emerald lawns and colorful, fragrant flowers and for filling the springs,
streams, rivers and oceans to sustain life. Oh! How insulting to Royal-man
honoring: Thy will be done!? Yes! We often say the words without humble praise;
what we hear is: My will be done!
And, the ultimate attack castigating
such opinion: Just put on your Rose-colored glasses!
Through the personal-prism perspective
of physical and accurately determined observation is a consideration of a
single element which focuses the correct conclusion, that being: Truth!
To choose Good! over evil is,
indeed, a personal choice; to fabricate falsehood is to: Lie!
“Rose-colored glasses” is an intended
insult to charitable contribution; so long as the observation is based, and
defensible, in Truth, the conclusion
is impenetrable. To promote one’s personal hatred of an event or a person is a Lie based at inception on the evil demon
of Hate. Such deceit is not sustainable either in logic, persuasion or a sense
of Praise! Honor! Glory!
Perhaps, that elusive jewel for which
man continually searches, and seldom seems to hold: Happiness! is already at
hand within a contrite heart, a pure soul and a free spirit of just: Truth!
Could it really be all that simple? I,
for one, say, “Yes!” Humble is the
sacred elixir of Life!
Perhaps, take another look at Life through the “Rose-colored glasses”
of simple: Truth!
To celebrate Good! is to embrace pleasant value-virtue through exemplar humble prayer.
To denigrate Truth! in pernicious lies blackens the soul with
purposeful-practiced hypocrisy.
Allow “Rose-colored glasses” focus my
senses on Praise! Honor! Glory! in
humble prayer.
Amen! To that!
