Judgments

Dreamer!

You’re a dreamer! Boy! Never be worthwhile good
If I focused my mind to it, bet that then I could
To care what others think of me? I should?
If it mattered to a dreamer, then surely I would
Go ahead and hang me; just spare the lying hood

The lad’s daddy shook his head, the boy was useless, he felt
Needs to taste the leather stinging bite of the old man’s belt

Mom’s patience rivaled time she spent in her garden of flowers
The gentle boy just needed love, for that she held the power

Sheltered her son as best she could from his father’s wrath
With his color-palette painted words leading on a fantasy path

“What good is that” her husband’s exacerbated query. "What a waste!”
“His deep emotion’s passionate,” Mom offered, “He shows great taste.”

You’re a dreamer! Boy! Never be of worthwhile good
If I focused my mind to it, bet that then I could
To care what others think of me? I should?
If it mattered to a dreamer, then surely I would
Go ahead and hang me; just spare the lying hood

To the military for shaping, maybe they’ll make a man of him
Soon filled out the uniform, sang and lived the Battle Hymn

Jumped proud from twenty thousand feet, felt cool dry desert air
White canopy floating down, searching tracer bullets errant flare

His brave Lieutenant took a hit as he scrambled for cover in the sand
The “Dreamer”-hero saved a life with pressure from his steady hand

Brave man allowed a dreamer-thought of Mom’s fragrant rose-red petals
As some General pinned to his proud chest two bravery-clustered metals

You’re a dreamer! Boy! Never be of worthwhile good
If I focused my mind to it, bet that then I could
To care what others think of me? I should?
If it mattered to a dreamer, then surely I would
Go ahead and hang me; just spare the lying hood

Never my concern, what others might think of me
When challenge knocks, then all shall clearly see

Whispers

Listen Quiet

Awesome thunderstorms this day! Thank You!
Time for contemplative reflections---tranquil softness.
Like gentle wind through pine needles, whispers echo
in the recesses of an open mind---Listen quiet now!

A midnight garden flourishing under an alabaster pale full moon;
Babbling crystal mountain cascades beckoning a visit;
A warm embrace from each of my seven precious treasures;
Soft kisses like flutter-by wings against my cheek;
Freshened memories of those I knew and loved, now gone:
Anticipation for a wondrous day filled with adventure-excitement;
Waves lapping at the bow on fishing pond of ole Fox Lake;
Dad's admonition to "walk easy" mentoring squirrel hunting to a boy;
Mom's careful encouragement; Grandma's custard cherry pie;
Mind exercise with calculus, conjugation, diagraming sentences;
Reverence in the solemn church celebrating the mass:
Humble Prayer, contrite Confession, Holy Communion:
My erudite and pragmatic teachers, all of them dear loved:
Goodness offered and counted value-virtue to emulate:
My blue Pacific inviting from the rugged coast overlook:
A simple breakfast at the farm with loving grandparents:
Re-consecrated humble devotion to my Faith!
Satiating vision of my perfect loving Family!
Sacred "Thanks" for precious liberty's Freedom!
Praise! Honor! Glory! My humble offered prayer.

And, in the raindrop dancing-cadence---
Life! Love! Laughter!

Amen!

Appreciate

"Spirit" Eyes

High upon the summit or low down in the valley:
Consider "Heaven" as a state of Grace in reality---

Might "Heaven" be much like earth? Perhaps! In intensity

Peaceful as the emerald meadow fresh with gentle rain
Quiet as a midnight coolness dark embrace of comfort
Colors which define the quintessence of the rainbow palette
September puffy white clouds in a cerulean abyss
A child's innocent kiss tender as a butterfly wing's blush
Snow-capped mountains reflecting on a mirror-lake
And, animals like unicorns soaring a floating canter
Myriad fragrant flower fields alive with fragrant beauty
An aura-flow alabaster pale full moon against the night
Blue-white sparkle diamonds leading the trace to morning dawn
A cooling breeze dancing the outstretched branches of a maple tree
Frost upon the pumpkin; scented pie in Grandma's oven
Clarity simply for honest viewing of complete understanding
Blue-green oceans highlighted with awesome whitecaps
A doe with twin fawns emerging from a copse of hardwoods
Life: South of yon full moon and just west of a high noon sun
Birds on the wing; a wondrous thunderstorm. And---
Love! Bestowed. Accepted. Reciprocated. Honored.

In a few words: Faith! Family! Freedom! Appreciated and Enjoyed!

With: Jesus in our midst offering Blessing-Grace!

Behold! Mon Amie! "Heaven" on earth is truly at hand!
Simply open humble "Spirit" eyes---and,,,appreciate!

Amen!

Happy Birthday! Miss Anna Marie!

Happy Birthday! Miss Anna Marie!
(May 25, 2015---12 years today! Yea!)

Our Miss Beautiful!

Annie’s “Birth”-day gifted a wonder-treasure find
That perpetual smile turned quickly laughing signed
You are so very beautiful! Our sacred darling young girl!
A giant heart more than a universe---Give sweet life a whirl
Intelligence! Beauty! Talent! Personality! A “Quality” so kind!
God bless you! Darling child!

Sunshine any day!

All I need do---any day…is: Just---Imagine You!
Pure image brightens life with all the things you do

Just like sister Lauren, “Brother” Z. and surrogate Lexli Lu
Half a dozen lovely clones blessed me; these angels I knew

Clouds may form and gather, sometimes bring sweet rain
Annie’s sunshine wins the day on mountain or on the plain

Blonde-beauty yonder on the slope with guitar in soft hands
Gentle-wind wisps halo-locks in golden sun shaft strands

Bapa babysits Annie? Other way around! What’s all the fuss?
We won’t find Trouble! Separated in years by fifty-some plus!

She’s only a child; Bapa’s mature? Why do they worry? Still?
’Cause what angel-Anna doesn’t think of, that crazy old man will!

“I’ll teach Annie to drive!” Bapa offered. Nanny said, “In the pasture-land!”
A cop pulled Anna Marie over; now Bapa’s doing 3 to 5 hard time unplanned

Says he’s not worried, laughing; “Just send me my Annie-chile!”
Surely, she’ll bring me a cake; inside it Annie hid a cutting file

So, let it gather clouds and thunderstorm or do just its worst anything
Arm-in-arm with me Loves in the ole rain we’ll still dance and sing!

All I need do---any day…is: Just---Imagine You!
Pure image brightens life with all the things you do

Just like sister Lauren, “Brother” Z. and surrogate Lexli Lu
Half a dozen lovely clones blessed me; these angels I knew

Love, forever, Nanny & Bapa

Happy Birthday! Annie  Rie!

From my tender-heart to your precious-being, I wish thee:

Cherish "Liberty"! Honor "Freedom"!

From Liberty flows "practiced" Freedom! Amen!

Heroes
(a memorial-salute to my friend: Bobby)

Too many names on a stone wall so black
Young brave soldiers won’t ever come back

Sacrificed lives vacate “ideals” construction
Death chiseled in granite, horror’s destruction

Those icicle fingers grope beyond wasted life lost
Piercing mothers and lovers, their children with strife

A mistake we allowed, this venomous deed dastardly
We pray haunts dead souls of politicos bastardly

Forgive us, our heroes, the people we love
Help us with healing from His Power above

Innocent young people on a long wall of black
Souls of the children who can never come back

Alas And, what of us now as we struggle anew?
These issues enormous strike terror right through

For logic answers we search but simply can’t see
Profound problem is us, our own worst enemy

Grant us a life without further pernicious sorrows
Peaceful-quiet rest like those fallen young warriors

Leave them alone, steal no longer their youth
Don’t teach them to lie but rather sight truth

Beyond the self-centered wanton with greed
Mankind does hunger to satiate good need

Where are we now as onward we falter?
Far from Redemption, no spiritual altar

Too many names on a stone wall so black
Young brave soldiers won’t ever come back

Amen!

Memorial Day! 2015

Praise! Honor! Glory!
Live! Laugh! Love!
Faith! Hope! Charity!
Thought! Word! Deed!

Reflective image

Look---Deep Within

Subtle “wisdom” often presents its value in masquerades of light-hearted teasing comedy harbinger of most serious meaningful virtue; the exercise occurs in myriad fashion. Observe.
“Hole-y”wood even occasionally offers tidbits of profound understanding which a “celebrity"-loving culture might glean a bit of worthwhile knowledge from---if…the fickle clientele was smart enough to “see” beyond the image on a screen and from humble education mode.
“Keep your friends close but your enemies closer,” Michael Carleone of Godfather fame.
“I’d rather have a free bottle in front of me than a free frontal lobotomy” A Tom Waits quote used in several movie presentations.
“If he was unarmed, he should have armed himself.” Clint Eastwood, a comedic conclusion delivered in the presentation of  Unforgiven.
Clint also hit a home run with a solemn line to the innkeeper’s wife in High Plains Drifter when she naively concluded, “Men like you are dangerous; you make people afraid.”
Without missing a beat in his practiced perfect-timing, Ole Clint mumbled, “What makes people afraid is what they know about themselves down deep inside.” Precisely!
If evil demons are running rampant within a troubled soul, cast them out with saving “Grace”.
Easily said? Yes! And, just as simply accomplished through self-examination, honesty, action.
Fault does not reside at the doorstep of another, the transgression sin emanates from that self-reflection in the mirror of life; the one bare of make-up, faux excuses; plain, glaring reality- Truth! Such conclusive assessment requires strong, practiced Faith! Redemption is offered, perpetually and eternally; simply humble thyself on bended knee in contrite search for Salvation!
Those demons we lament on Sunday morn are self-created, invited and befriended within.
Begin with a resolution of Christian “Independent Individualism”. (How dangerous!?)
Do it now, before it’s too late.

Amen!

Stirrings

Body, Soul and Spirit

In a surreal dream-image through a dichotomous awake-sleep, Jesus revealed reality with: “The body holds the life of man; the soul is the life of the body; the spirit is the life of the soul.”
Individual life for man exists within a human body which is mortal and one day shall die. The life of that body is an eternal soul which precludes death in the physical; the life of that infinite soul is the spirit, just as present in reality as is the soul to the body in life. Within that spirit exists the quintessence which is God who is the very essence of Love! Amen!
Within the trinity, God the Father is the Source-Authority from whom all creation flows; Jesus is the Blessing of God’s Love for man; the Holy Spirit is the Grace dispensing that Love. In triangle unison they focus a single intent and purpose which is God’s Love!
Have you ever felt like crying but, there was no outward experience or inward thought to suggest such emotion? The feeling just---happened? Wet tears well up behind the eyes for no apparent reason, like a pressure demanding escape, yet, puzzlement as to cause.
That sensation, Mon Amie, is the Grace of the Holy Spirit who dwells within thee; such an experienced phenomena is called: a Stirring, referring to the Love of the Holy Spirit of the Trinity expanding within the soul in reaction to some Goodness indulged by the mind of the host body; much like a loving parent bestowing “that” proud look of approval upon a child who has just accomplished some Good of his own accord displaying positive judgment.
The “Stirrings” are random and vary in intensity lending them to a rating based on a projected scale of 1 to 10. The first three intensities might suggest the pressure of crying a tear while mid-numbers, 4, 5 and 6 might cause one to wipe at a wetness at the corner of the eye and the next three emotional focuses leave one crying like a baby. If a ten could be revealed, the ecstatic exaltation experienced might cause the physical body to expire. Such revelation to God’s Love could exceed man’s limited capability and understanding; any intensity of that level must be akin to celestial bliss probably found only in Heaven.
All in all, the emotional ride is a most humbling experience which cannot be called at will.
Man can only emulate a minute suggestion of the Love that is God. We seek to know Him, to understand His way, to experience His Goodness and come away only with knowledge that He remains a divine mystery. The very best we might hope to accomplish: Humble Love toward man.
Amen!

All we truly have to offer is Good toward each other
The very best we have to give is Love to one another

When in my time within my space allow me exemplar stir the Spirit-Grace!
Amen!
