Rain is Good!

Rain-fresh Showers

During mid-night dreams rain showers visited here
Upon new dawn, vibrant colors upon emerald cheer

Freshness-tingle greets acute-senses nose
Yellow daffodil, white tulip, deep red rose

Mr. Sun peeks through a violet-tinged sky-hole
Red Ear spawn beckon a willow-cane fishing pole

Though mid-April still a few days away
Mid-eighties call Morrels to “Pop” ’n play

Break out the horsehide ball. it sure feels good
Check the ash bats, oil ole leather mit, I should

Keep watch on mare-Suzy, she’s in-foal
On shaky legs colt stands to meet his goal

Like yon wind through leaves, Satin easy flies
Arab-breeding floats like fleeting flutter-bys

Upon the silver-aquatic crescent lake
Ducklings eleven to the water take

Cerulean-blue dotted-“V” migrant Canadian geese
In green meadow frolics spotted-fawn gentle-beast

Light blue robin eggs are hatched within the nest
Whistles “Bob White” quail-bird proud of its crest

While upon sweet air an angel-choir sings above
Me heart be light in soothing song of honey-Love!
Across the wind-swept flat grassland prairie proudly boast
Emotional-devotional respect-filled eternal celestial toast
Humble-thankful in generous spirit-prayer to heaven’s Host
Good! Praise! Life be cherished from mountain to yon coast
Better! Honor! Earned still for purposed-understanding most
Best! Glory! Intent the name of Father! Son! And, Holy Ghost

Amen!
