Rain-kissed Delight
At that straight-up hour which perfectly divides the clock, six a.m., subdued early morning-light awakened me from resting sleep stirring curiosity about the new day. Sitting on the edge of the bed I peered out the eastern window-light to view an overcast greeting from friend Mother Nature on a grand Saturday offering. Emerald waves of manicured lawn emoted satisfaction with this world; in the night just receded a gentle rain had soft-kissed the earth; I had not even awakened to the beat. The clouds remained, promising additional natural watering for my beautiful life's garden. Off to prepare a light breakfast, then to Kirkwood's Lutheran Church on Elm Street with my best girl for their annual herb-show where lovely Lady Candice Leah will choose some plants; whatever they be, such will compliment her fragrant herb garden fitting-in perfectly.
And, I shall spectate---and...Enjoy!
God bless! Amen!
