Good
Friday
“Crucify Him!” “Crucify Him! They chanted in
vacant crowd-mob-“follower” unison.
Pontius Pilot acquiesced, literally
washing his hands of the dilemma, delivering Christ.
Evil crowned the Lord; scourged His
body, forced Him to carry a burden-Cross, nailed Him to it, demeaned His honor,
mocked His reign offering vinegar, and finally, pierced His sacred heart.
At the hour of three past the noon time
sun, the Son of God---Expired! Died for our
sins!
Skies blackened as the Wrath of heaven
descended upon the evil of their sin. Satan defeated!
Disciples and Mary, His mother, laid the
body to rest in a borrowed tomb, secured by a stone.
Saints
among us! Angels, too!
Tears
I’ve shed for saints love-lost paid
Yet!
Fear not! Follow Me! I’m not afraid
Though
my list may be long, I love them still
Understanding
not. Respect: Be done His will
Time-space
relinquished when He names a call
Humble
reminder: Upon thy knee voluntarily fall
That
tiny seed of belief hold ever-handy
Pray!
Judgment-Mercy may He hand me
Amen!
Rest
in Peace! Loving departed:
(Respectful
Greetings to thee! Say “Hello!” to Jesus for me)
Souls
cleansed pure-white; spirits soaring-free---To wit:
Dear
Dad, Poppy & Grandma, Granny & Granddaddy,
Kermit-dad,
Edwin & Rose, Uncle Randell, Miss Lisa,
Grandpas-Martin,
Ted with Grandmas-Catherine, Em,

& Lil, a surrogate-brother Michael-Mon Amie!
Warren
& Ada, Ham & Ardell, Mr. Lee, a special one known to me,

Mate “Bobby” blood-etched on a cold marble-wall of Heroes!
Various
nuns, some priests, several saints, a few angels, many more…
Myriad
spirits I will always love, some who may have even loved me…
And,
in thy time---live free
Within
thy space---Loving be
Faith!
Family! Freedom! See!
Amen!
