Turned out, Sharon had a penchant for animals and loved them dearly, devoting time and attention to their care. It worked out quite well for all concerned; we always had a pet dog, or two, and some kitty-cats running around. My Great-Grandparents, Grandpa Martin and Grandma Catherine lived on a farm with all kinds of animals. Sharon loved visiting; so did I.
Brother John didn’t have the affection
for baseball that I had developed but we played, some.
He played Khoury League, our local homegrown version of Little League; so did I.
Ahh! The “Good” old-days! Indeed! Life seemed simpler
back then, at least, from a modern
perspective. In Truth, and in the
end, Life is what each person makes
of it! Amen! To that. Amen!
Life
isn’t
always fair. Few things are so.
Eventually, if you’re smart, you learn to live with what and where you are and
find ways and means to Enjoy the
journey. It is an Attitude!
The Blessing-Grace
of holy-sacred Free-will gives us
license and opportunity to make our own decisions and raw our own conclusions
as we travel this trace through Time
and Space. The often seldom untold Truth of that Liberty and Freedom is
that there are consequences to
actions.
There is absolutely “No” excuse for any blame to be laid at the feet of
another. We choose!
I’ve been exceptionally “Lucky” all of my life; maybe not
“deserving”, but gratefully, lucky.
My world revolves around what has become
my coveted mantra: Faith! Family! &
Freedom!
That sacred-holy Trinity is much akin to the Holy
Trinity of Father! Son! & Holy Ghost! Each entity is equal to the other. It is a Three-persons-in-one-God proposition. Treasured-equality!
As a “child” chronographically, that is,
by advancing age tally-count, early on I acquired the insight to appreciate my myriad and bountiful Blessings. True enough, my little world was quite limited and I
held enormous advantages that not everyone is titled with like an exceptionally
loving family wherein each member was Saintly
and some even Angelic in their
approach to the world. I get it; not all
share equally in such delight.
But---I did fully Appreciate…my good fortune! I firmly believe that most people, also, do.
