"Wild-times!?"---Always!...I "do"-try!? Amen!

Ah!---“Wild”-times!…Indeed!

Way-back yonder, in that latest century-past, 1989, we sold out all
of our Midwest-holdings and uprooted the entire-family on a sojourn
westward to that “Great-Northwest” to the Paradise!-Oregon! Wow!

No-Fool! Like an old-one! That’s true! Sure--enough! I reckon-so!
Had “just-shy-of” 400-acres contained in three-parcel farms, one of
them over 200-acres; we lived “quite”-well enjoying an excellent-
domicile , the old-farmstead with house, barn, out-buildings located
a half-mile from our residence. We raced our riding-horses in the rock-
bottom creek, deer-hunted, grew winter-wheat and leafy alfalfa-hay.
We ate-well! Practiced Christian-generosity! Enjoyed a swimming-pool!
Daughter-Beth was accepted to Willamette University Law-School in Salem.

So? We sold-out (liquidated), packed the ole-wagon and headed-west.
Even took the critters with-us! Dogs! Doves! Horses! And, plants!
Z. Tyler celebrated his 2nd-birthday “on-the-road” in Wyoming. Fun!

Lady-Candice and I had shuttled our Mustang to Oregon prior to our
“Official”-move; I had given it to Candy for her 40th-birthday; one-
year and two-months later, Becky turned 16, Candy gave her that car!

We had a-“time”! In Rocky Mountain National Park we were at the
gift-shop area when a mountain hail-storm struck out-of-the-blue! Wow!
I pulled into a “turn-out” to put the top up on our Mustang convertible!
As I latched-tight the toggle-locks and rolled-up the windows against the
ice-stone onslaught, a couple on a motorcycle pulled up beside-us; we
were snug and safe as hailstones bounced off the pair’s helmets. Ouch!

As we pulled-away, I opened the-window and said, “Put the top up!”

We made “Good”-time! That pony ran an easy-90! Flirted with-100!
Somewhere out Idaho-way, we caught a Texas-twister-man! Another
“Free-spirit!” He ran “point”! We “drafted” his-tail across the state
of Idaho to just west of Boise where our “point”-man exited. Whew!
That red-Corvette could-fly! Our-pony could run total-wild! Too!

After 2-years in “God’s”-country, we moseyed down Tennessee-way!
Beth finished her Law-degree at Nashville’s Vanderbilt-University!

We travelled the Great-Northwest on our sabbatical to Oregon! Had
myriad Fantastic-adventures there! Let the good-times roll! Great!

Might-not have amounted to much “Good”! Sure had a “wild”-time!
Amen!
