And,
the “Problem”---is…?????
Several school districts
in our home-state, our neighboring-state
and, probably across this
great-land have decreed, via some “hired-
help” super-“intenders”(?), that the
“educators” will go to a 4-day
school-week beginning
next fall. People are outraged! Hmm!
What the “genius”-directors did not inform: 12-month
continuous-classes!
(That conclusion is this
writer’s opinion, not yet a fiat-complete.)
Hmm!
So? Let’s take a gander
at this “monumental”-pronouncement from “on-high”.
20% less school days!? Good! Sounds like a 20% tax-reduction on
real estate
property
dollar-“confiscations” along with 20% reductions in all faculty and
administration salaries
and stipends. Sounds too-good to be true! Hmm!
Of course, these
“elite”-erudite sophisticates do a “wonderful” job “ed-e-cating”
our students (look at
test scores, ACT & SAT results). More-money
is not the answer!
Been-there!
Tried-that!---conclusion…utter-disaster!
Hmm!
Our little district once
sent the entire “school-board” (with administrators)
to the state capitol on a
tax-paid (junket) for a “necessary?”-meeting!?
The attendees came home
to “hay-seed” Podunk dripping with “culture”
that must have slopped-out
on them filled with “fine-dining” tales and
NO-new ideas on bettering
our educational-system. Such-acumen!? Hmm!
One of the “impressed”-depressed
members spewed accolades-of-grandeur
for the waiters at the
gala-soiree who served the “elite”-gathering. Hmm!
“When the head-guy
snapped his fingers all the white-gloved “peon”-waiters
came to alert-attention serving their offerings
like well-trained militia-men
in cadenced-splendor, every
“clink” and “clang” of the dishes reverberating!”
Must have been quite the
show-experience!?---Really!?...Hmm!
I said, “Proves we don’t
need an “expensive” school-administration; at all!”
My “well-fed” classy-nemesis allowed, “They go to
'state' education-meetings!”
I countered, “Fire-them!
Too! They do---absolutely…nothing!”
Hmm!
So? “We the people…” gave
them more-money (taxes). They spent $1.4 million on a
pond with a fountain at
the new high school---and…the “hole” never held water! Wow!
Kind-a brings a tear to the
neophyte taxpayer-eye!---sniff!...The Problem!?”…Uhm! Hmm!?
