A “Great”-day!...

 

The last few days were heavily iron-gray overcast and chilly.

Not too bad for January early-winter statements-of-nature.

Today! Bright-sun and upper-40’s. What a “gift”. Hooray!

 

Even the “skeptics” applauded the “good”-luck. Yipee!

 

But---another perspective…”Beauty” is in the “eye”…

 

Each morn, I awake to the calling dawn of a new-day.

Sometimes I await the “light”---still…it always comes.

 

Is it really “attitude”?---Really!?...Gee! That’s really “simple”!

 

Every-day---is a “Beautiful! Perfect-gift!...Only life-absence is dreary!

 

3-times---I have visited “near”- death…Life celebrates…Living!

 

Maybe I have no ambition; no wants; no needs; no demands. Nothing!

 

Maybe?---Sure-enough! I reckon!...Such…delivers…Happiness!

 

You need not “please” simple-humble I---I have “no” expectations…

Only allow that Independent-Individual “I” serve…Thee!

 

If I can elicit a simple-honest smile---my spirit…soars!

Faith! Family! Freedom! Might just be all there really---Is!

In one eternal-instant the only mercy blessing will be…His!
