Relaxing contemplating Father’s Day!

Bar-b-que! Swimming! Soft-ball play!

At 8 the big-guys claimed “No Santa-Claus!”

At 20 with kids---I is “him”…Dad-laws!

Reflecting: Wouldn’t have it any other way!

 

Amen!

 

Happy Father’s Day! Dad!

 

 

Transgression-Confession!?

 

Sure enough reckon it’s a “bit” late for goal-setting.

Flew through this time and space by the “seat-of-my-pants!”

Much too busy “living” to spend precious time “planning”;

Just busy “living” the adventure, one instant-event at a time.

Sure enough reckon I worked hard for those delinquent-accolades!?

 

A very few “adults” appreciated my minor baseball-abilities.

 

Can’t recall any dads with pretty-daughters that cared for me! Hmm!

Reckon those “old-timers” sure enough had “good”-sense! Hmm! Again.

 

Somewhere---yonder in the deep mind-recesses…I indulged a “want”.

 

That undeveloped “yen” one day (much later) personified itself---

a “special”-child was born (mine)…My mantra: Faith! Family! Freedom!

 

All I ever really wanted was the chance to live that chosen-mantra.

 

Lucky! I enjoyed two delicious-families as a child: Schulers & Farrells!

 

I married a girl just like “Mom”---and…”our” family emulates my ancestry!

 

So---with extreme pride, I applaude…Happy Father’s Day! Amen!

 

So---very proud…to be part of this magnificent-family experience!
