Tack-shop Leather-“Aroma”!
Whenever I went
to the barn to feed the sheep or
attend the
cattle and horses, I always made a point
of sticking my
head in the tack room; the aroma of
oiled leather
assaulted my senses in an endearing-manner.
The anticipation
of the pleasant fragrance flooded my
memory of times
and places cherished in my heart.
Also, it brought
back memories of horses and people
and riding
adventures of a time past. Full-moonlight
adventures with
over 60 other equines and friends with
a midnight
assemblage rendezvous for a tasty bar-b-que.
Daughter-Becky
has a garage filled to over-flowing with
tack and gear
for the pleasure of her two girls, Miss Lauren
and Miss Anna
Marie. Visiting heir abode is positively
enhanced by the
“leather”-aroma permeating the garage.
Take a deep
breath and enjoy an old Bedouin adage:
There
is no wind so sweet as that which blows
between
the ears of a fine Arabian-horse!
Amen!
