Plus: An election night comment:

America! America!

Election Day---U.S.A.

Well, it came and went and it’s all over but the counting---
and, the weeping and gnashing of teeth and…the “mountain call”!?

We will survive (as “We, the people…” always do).

Today we prove, as on every election day that we are not
fit to rule ourselves by choice; Ah! Dangerous Democracy!
Therein, the reason we celebrate a “Democratic Republic”. Amen!

But, Oh! Lord! The peons “We. The people…” vote into office!?
Plain old “hired help” we let run absolutely wild. Think of government
employees “of the people” like the lawn boy you hire to mow the grass.
You choose to pay him $20 and to cut it on Tuesday afternoon and to
do the mowing parallel to the street; you come home Tuesday morning
and the “hired help” has taken $100 from your desk drawer and he is
out front mowing perpendicular to the street. You say “You’re fired”
and get a quick text from his lawyer reminding you of the boy’s union
affiliation and asking “if” you posted all the necessary safety regulations.

Sound far fetched? Really? Did you pay any attention to the political ads
extolling the “virtues” of the incumbents? Now, that’s Halloween-scary!

Folks! There just plain ain’t no Royal-eilite! Any where! Ever! Period.

Today we choose who governs us by proxy only; We own the U.S.A.

Every once in a while we just need a subtle (Ha! Ha!) reminder.
Take a good look at our “hired help”. Is that “reminder” enough?

Try telling your boss when, or if, you’ll show up, what work you’ll
decide to do, and when, and take his cash from his wallet. Good job hunting!

Half of America is socialist; half is Traditional; 40% don’t vote.

Will Rogers said “We have the best government money can buy.”
I say, “We reap exactly what we sow!”

The U.S. A. will always be a “Great” people; sometimes our luster is
tarnished by the “hired help’s” purposed attack on the Constitution, but,
we survive because “We, the people…” are in charge.

Long live America! Amen!
