Day 33 to 50 Celebration plus a personal note

What Might be I…without Thee?

My Darling, Lovely, Lady Candice Leah!

A wise old proverbial Arab nomad tenet imparts over millennia years

No wind be so sweet as blows between an Arabian horse’s refined ears

And, the what of me, the where would be I, the what could I do?

A leaf upon yon wind wild, a tumbleweed, save your love true

I’ve truly tried and been and done quite all there seems to be

Challenged “reality” and lived surreal, grasped all that I did see

Success? Perhaps, an errant few; yet, to live and laugh and love

Savor each day’s events on earth sent generous from Him above

Deny an angry fear or any vacant worry comes my humble way

With attitude for charity in hope headlong to seek a brand new day

And, well thee might see harbinger of exquisite pleasure knew

Then kindred spirit wild joined I to soar delicious heaven’s blue

Where love dares life to ride wild white unicorn cerulean high

Catch rainbows, savor vibrant butterflies flutter ever softly by

Traverse with me that special fury stark of a summer thunderstorm

Where lightning flash the raucous rumble, rattle echoes to perform

Snow angels wave while catch an errant frigid flake upon the tongue

Dash through white fluff in a red-bright one-horse sleigh have sung

Float in a rowboat on Fox Lake in late springtime so pleasant

I read thee poetry, a display of sweet young love’s dear present

Pretend interest in fall bow hunt trek just time to spend with me

Kaleidoscope Autumnal color palette, then rare Albino buck to see

What more to life? Our Catherine and Rachel girls pure prize

Handsome Z. Tyler, sweet Lauren, Lexi and Annie Rie surprise

Chance live it all once more to choose adventure wild or boring tame

My Lord! My God! Pray! I’d surely do it just again the very same! Amen!

Happy 46th Anniversary!

Plus: A personal comment:

Our girls moved their stable horses to Devonwood;
what an absolutely delicious choice they have made.

This is a "family" operation reflecting the obvious love of
Miss Michele and Miss Ashley who each dearly love the
equestrian lifestyle and the horse-people who habitate
their establishment. Each is an accomplished rider with
vast experience and exquisite training abilities. My own
opinion on Ashley's talent is that she could absolutely
"ride-the-wind" if someone could just saddle the illusion.

The patrons of this enclave display a genuine "love"
for the magnificent animals and for one another; no
one is ever a stranger on this horse property. And, our
girls are accepted and treated with honest appreciation.

Myriad excellent riders lend an offered hand to anyone
in need including constructive praise. Miss "Cat" and the
others display empathy; each is an exemplar "Champion".

We are very grateful for the opportunity to participate.

"Good show!" My fellow horse lovers.

Thank you, all! Candy & Carl
