In the "Spirit" mirror...

Revelation

Those first, the last, in-between, which ones be me favorite Book?
Oh! Myriad verses God’s sacred Word, each deserves a holy look

Notice society-modern culture-hip concerted effort hateful-attack
Religion lives as sure as God’s goodness sets pernicious agenda back

Wish I may, wish I might know unit Trinity just “In the Beginning…”
Born Spirit pure, quick taught to lie, Sprout demon Christian sinning

Delightful journey through eon ages crescendo birth yon Christmas Eve
Awesome God respected humble man with perfect life, followers believe

Taught parables, exemplar lived in charity-generous, no conjured fable
Suffered thirteen stations to Redempted Salvation via Communion table

Glorified body reborn at vacant tomb-of-death on Resurrection Day
Defeated dark-one’s evil threatened stain each Blessed hour, I pray!

Footprints!? Adam tempted, Moses parted, Noah boated, the Baptist wild
Jesus alone! Where stand I? Pardon Lazarus! He was dead! Christ smiled

Myriad valued lessons purely offered, with luck a few I may have learned
Espoused mindful good intentions, failed; virtue-good for which I yearned

I’ll stand to shout His whispered Truth even if “Idiot!” they coin me
Promises His Word He’ll be there if one or two simply will join me

Fiat clear the Lord instilled within man’s wicked nature, major directives two
Simple stated, difficult practiced: Honor Truth! Do Good! All Christians knew

Point out not the obvious sins of chosen enemies vile detested
View obfuscated image in mirror reflecting evil intent inflected

Hide not cringed beyond barred church door for a gathered “tell ’n show”
Step up! Volunteer! Whisper subtle humble prayer to God, “Yes! I will go!”

Should Scripture go unfulfilled, a witness false, God’s Own evil sin
Genesis beginning to Revelation tale: In the end, the good guys win

Amen!
