Yeah!---I really can...fly!

Silver “Angel” Wings

White fluffies kissing blue traverse sky yonder
Surveilling splendor I wonder why I wander

Time surely will pass through space to mark the day
Serious! Must I get, industrious; not all fun and play

Make a mental note to contemplate a ’morrow goal
Success! Applauded by masses; demanded aspiring toll

Let me see? Count worthy life’s important accomplishments
None! Pray tell! Save party-time savoring all nourishments

Once!? Okay? Maybe? I saved, then stashed a sacred five bucks
Hoarded that “fever” with a coupon: Half-off! Hmm! Just luck!

Another time, I freed a fledgling quail stuck in roadside oil
Paid for a young boy’s cost not wanting his ice cream to spoil

Made an ancient neighbor lady smile with one yellow rose
Caused comfort-hope for some compared to me, I suppose

Even let a batter hit one far ’cause some laughed at his shoes
Yeah! “Little” things that nobody ever noticed as worthy news

Smelled deeply of the roses in the garden I did joyful-loving tend
Oft’ spirit flew among Silver Angel Wings for dreaming to spend

Played “White Stallion” in the pool with sweetness little girls
Taught them pleasant-ride the ponies like wild whirlwind swirls

Failed terrible to “adult”-be of irreverent intent to life-event show-up
A-purpose never feared to Liberty-Freedom leave just to “grow-up”

Yeah! I confess transgress to please what others for me desire
Emulate them? No chance with such could humble-I conspire

So? I choose walk alone where I am free and air is clear to breathe
Like Yogi’s “fork”; I take it! No material encumbrance do I seize

For I have tasted sweet of love and licked the honey-sugar candy-stick
And, wild-soared at will white fluffies as a friend the angels ready pick

Amen!
