Simply---Everything!...A Delicious world of good cheer!

 

So exceedingly Blessed with good health---I Could!

So Lucky to Love! a plethora of Family!---I Should!

Such spirit-Peace! in Faith! Freedom!---I Would!

 

A Thankful focused-purpose a castle-domicile!

Grateful for food-nourishment gourmet-style!

Appreciative of adequate-apparel comfort-pile!

 

I freely offered holy-sacred adoring true-Love!

Got in return warm kisses and hugs from above!

 

Played along with Santa Claus for younger-sister, kid-brother!

Savored frigid-winter ice and snow like none normal-other!

 

Built many a Frosty! Flash-sleighed on a treacherous snow-hill!

Pond ice skated! Bonfire roasted marshmallows-hot digs to fill!

 

At “10” a record player! 78’s! 45’s! 33 1/3’s! The very best!

Ole Elvis-man gospel-crooner never forever-after got any rest!

 

Toys! Galore! 3-speed Schwinn racer at “12”! Cool! Go!

Sister a bike! Brother a trike! Exciting Christmas-show!

 

Mountains of shredded colored wrapping-paper destroyed!

Wished-for desires!---Complete!...Presents fully enjoyed!

 

So-many! Too-many! Each a Perfect Love-gift appreciated!

Never disappointment!---Always satisfaction!...Love-emulated!

 

And, yet---among the myriad fine-gifts, a life-lesson…Measure!

“’Tis better to give than to receive!”---a true worthy…Treasure!

I quick learned---being ole Santa Claus is a unique…Pleasure!

 

Ho! Ho! Ho!---Santa’s “bag-of-tricks”?...Trinity-Love!

“Silent night! Holy night!”---“Noel!”…Heaven-above!

 

God is---Love is…Christmas is…emulating God’s-Love essence!

Secure satiated holy spirit-Peace as Christmas-Santa quintessence!
