O! Color-glows! Shiny-glistens! Ice cycle tinsel silver crinkle-hints!

O! Faux-white blanket-snow beneath my feet a desert town-of-tents!

Each year myriad fine-gifts color-wrapped in Christian-Love sense!

 

Supporting evergreens through time have changed appearance-some!

Whether tall or round or other matters not as long as Christmas comes!

 

Crowning-Glory! Tip-topping myriad Christmas-celebration trees!

O’er a tally-count decades-plus Family-festivities way up high I see!

 

Participants sing and dance “O! Christmas-tree!” to my delight!

Center-stage I announce-pronounce a “Merry Christmas” bright!

’Til a January winter-day into a storage box I’m cast from sight!

Cold-shiny new-era aluminum faux-tree display a modern-fright!

Times trendy-change now spins below a color-wheel flood light!

Crumpled silver-slivers reflect Rainbow choreograph hard-blight!

A tender-archeologist child attic-unearths me resurrecting white!

 

Oh! Happy-times! Vanquish the “fad”! Back to the old tradition!

Green-trees! Colored-lights! Ornaments! Silver-tinsel rendition!

 

Once more “high”-Proud again o’re Family to sentinel-stand!

Christmas-Joy! Oh! Boy! Tradition victory-won quite Grand!

 

Excited Innocent-Gabriella said, “I see ‘me’ way-high on yon sparkle-top!”

The Wild-party-celebration hush-paused nearly resulting a complete-stop!

 

“That ole historic tree-topper has seen some mighty sights!” Bapa opined.

“But, little Missy’s angel-face reflection is the very best it’s ever shined.”

 

“I” certainly appreciate any presented Honor-offered accolade!

Many previous-generations my shine at Christmas sparkle made!

 

Celebration-swirled memories album-filled permeates a Love-glow!
