Happy Anniversary! Candy-girl!

(November 25, 2023 “57”-years! Congratulations! Celebrate!)

 

Evil-result an Angel would ne’er commit-intentionally

“Hey! Big-boy!” Thunderbolts him from yon cherry tree

Careful! Where thee may falter-tread.  Serendipity!

 

She encouraged him to pursue her---’til…she caught-him

A Rebel! Rascal! Rapscallion! Rogue! Yet, she sought-him

 

Rage winter-blizzard huddled warm with pretty little-Miss

And, there it was---forever & eternal…a loving sweet-kiss

 

Yon Rebel “danger”-call enthralled young pretty maid

A Rascal “trouble” stir-any-cauldron demon-evil played

Rapscallion ignore “elite” pretense-game rules decayed

A Rogue mischievous child-Innocent adventure-prayed

Focused-hubris Independent-Individual! Cool! accolade

 

Each held the other’s class ring in a holy-sacred pledge

Around his neck! On her hand! He hard-pushed any edge

 

High school Love read poetry on Fox Lake in a row boat

Dare! Romance-at-hand! Full moon swimming pool float

 

Convertible-surfing cranked-radio blaring passion-fashion beat

I love thee tender! Love-True! Made me Perfect- life complete

 

Non-materialistic self-promise asserted yet wear a metaphoric golden-crown

Precious-gems: Candy! Caty! Becky! Z! Lauren! Lexi! Annie! Gabby! found

 Adding Graig! Alex! Jennifer! To complete the tally-count so tightly-bound

 

Good! Better! Best! A Trinity worthy on which to focus-hold

Live! Love! Laugh! A trio-goal exemplified clearly value-bold

Faith! Family! Freedom! Holy-sacred triad of Love virtue-gold

 

And--- into a Fantasy-Future…unfolds this history-story
