Pre-dawn exciting!
Brr! A pale
pink-blush dawn cool-fog morn-hint
A
smile on tulip lips after a rest-night well spent
She
dreamt sweet-Fantasy upon a Magic-unicorn
Soared
the cosmos-wide denying any chill-forlorn
Her
stablemates whinnied at her excited approach
They
heard an echo-call as she jumped off the porch
Pulled
tight her riding jacket as morning wind assaulted
Quick
inside! Pungent horse and leather odors resulted
“Morn’
Ladies and Gents!” She turned on
stable lights
A
friendly barn-mouse brought this equestrian no fright
She
sang a cherry “Howdy-do!” soothing cowboy-tune
Lead
out the bay Ole Beau to brush and tack real-soon
“Mornin’ Beau!” She pet his neck and
haltered the steed
Cross
tied him in the alley, admired his Morgan breed
Curried
the cayuse fine and tacked him perfect saddle-fit
On
goes the leather bridle! Ever careful-gentle with the bit
True-dawn
has come calling to usher up a golden-sun
Lead
Beau outside to warm-up walk before a fast run
“I
couldn’t wait to see my Beau; we flew the cosmos Wild!”
She
laughed at her little joke, giggled and little girly smiled
“Sun’s
awakin’ trying to breach a cerulean eastern sky!
“It’ll
be full-shine when the emerald-meadow we full-ply!”
Expertly
with Class-finesse Missy put Beau
through warm-up paces
So
very excited! The pair had tally-summed myriad adventure-traces
From
the kitchen table I watched our girl thunder-rocket o’re hill and dale
“Chaos-controlled
yon ‘Whisper-wind’! Nanny! She rides
like you can sail!”
As
comfort-sun traverse blue sky the beauty-pair choreographed “Love!”
They
danced-Wild! on emerald-turf as
angels peered from heaven-above
Any
& all ’tis a fine-day to fork a horse!---Me friend equestrian!...Amen!
