Softball! Dance! Equestrian! We always seem to play!

 

And---Lucky!...$23 Lexi won on a borrowed  $2 bet!

I lost $2 and spent $100 trying to get it back? Not yet!

 

“Hey! Lex! Could you give ole Bapa a nice big loan?”

Closed tight her purse! Won’t even throw me a bone!

 

Golden-sunshine pales in your pristine smile-white

I can conjure your face in mind for a happy sight

 

We sure enough had our “special” times back in the day

Brother! Anna! Lauren! Gabriella Leigh! A Love!-say

 

Straight-A’s! So smart! Now off to party-time in college-town

Pretty campus! Murray State! Found Abbi with which to-clown

 

Love your photos! Our conversations! Just to think of you

Another Perfect! in a long line of Amazing-angels I knew

 

If I had any sense I’d find new friends with whom to rehearse

A wretch among sacred Saints! & Angels! makes me look worse

 

Almost forgot afore I run out of space and thought, Lexli-Lu

prefers un-rhymed poetry absent cadence, more in the form of

prose, and since my little mind has run plum out of faux-acuity

displaying for all to obfuscated see a lack of keen perspicacity

I’ll simple revert to a vacant cacophony  of echo-noise just to

satiate a spirit of holy-sacred Peace! to wit: I love you! Amen!

 

(Still think I’m not trustworthy to repay a simple little loan? Hmm!)

 

In all the days in all the world through cosmos eternal-space

Dare ride Wild! yon Magic-unicorn with me to phantom-race

 

I know not “how” to love thee more and yet, I do, each day!
